Things I'd like to see-
More locations than just the space station
No speed running
Sylux (a resolution to the cliffhanger at the end of Prime 3
Interplanetary travel controls and ship to ship combat

Well there was that jungle looking area in the gameplay trailer, so more areas are confirmed. Speed Running is more of a fan thing, and it isn't that difficult to get under 2 hours. But yes, I'd also like some resolution and ship combat.

I've gotta say that so far, especially with Zero Mission, Samus has been unfortunately shown to be a pretty shitty pilot. I mean, she does have a different ship like every other game. I wonder what percentage of her bounty hunting fees go towards insurance.

You raise a good point, although to be fair, Zero Mission was her first mission, and likely became a better pilot by the time of Other M (and the destruction of her ship at the beginning of Fusion was not due to shitty pilot skills, but because she became unconscious after being infected by the X).

Someone talked about speed running, already....

But, are you actually referring to the super speed ability?

But everyone loves the Speed Booster! I just wish it was a little more manueverable. Instant activation might be fun, too.

Instant activation would take away from the challenge in using it to reach certain powerups/expansions though, and would not require any real skill to use.

I was referring to having to rush through the game to get a good ending and not being able to really enjoy it.

Yeah I hate having to do that in like metroid fusion on GBA and what not. Thats what I like about the Prime series. its not on a timer.

Well, to be fair, the ship in Metroid 2, Metroid Prime 2, and Super Metroid looks like it cold be the same ship.

Watched the E3 trailer, and this game just looks fun.

Hmmm.... are there gonna be some side-scrolling levels and some Metroid Prime-style? Not complaining, of course.
