OK. 👆 What is the format regarding tiers in the fights? Herald vs. herald, herald/meta, etc?

Lastly, is there a cap on things in-match? tech, etc?

Another question: For versions of characters that are the same character...are all showings allowed?

That's a question that depends entirely on the character and context.

Par example, if I wanted to use Genis-Vell [High-herald bracket], could I in turn use stuff from his days as Photon, as well as his Captain Marvel stuff?

Anyways, I think Paul was on the right track about getting to play on multiple sides. Seems to me that so long as you're still limited to 1 herald, 1 meta and 1 street in total, it should be fair.

Will the battles be made by pitting any heralds (for instance) from one team against any from another, or will power level be considered? I don't wanna choose a low meta if it means I have to debate against high metas with my low meta the entire tournament.

first, i'm not even sure bw is being serious. second--if he is, you're practically assured of a win cuz we are very likely to kill each other before this thing ever gets off the ground . . .

We've never been terribly at odds because of personalities imo. Ive always just seen it as issues we both wanted things to turn out in our favor for and were the loudest supporters for.

Oh I was serious, I'm taking DC. I lean more towards DC with favorites than with Marvel truth be told.

Which puts team DC at 7+ members

there isn't a limit on team members though. we just have to watch our scheduling. with that many people, we'll each be limited in the number of times we can debate.

this tourney will sort of be the old guard vs the new guard. 🙂 kind of.

goob might still want in on the marvel side. bran is another who should be in this.

You guys are not lacking in people either. But PM people. Entity, ExodusCloak, Darth, and others are heavy Marvel fans. Go recruit

On DC we have me, Raoul, Leo, Trick, Scoob and Blair with Batdude and Id as possible but unlikely. Am I missing someone ?

nothing about just 6 team members. and there shouldn't be, really.

one thing--a best of 11 may not allow everyone to use all 3 of their characters. say we win 6 straight (just "hypothetically" . . . heh) that would be only 6 matches and with having to vary the tiers, not all characters will be used. instead of best of 11, could we consider maybe the first team with 9 wins or something? more opportunity to debate and use characters, and more chance to pit diferent characters against each other.

i also hope the format varies. i'd love 1vs1 as well as matches that are 2vs2 and 3vs3.
