KMC Contest of Champions- Marvel vs DC Discussion thread

The random idea is interesting, but I'm not sure if I would feel comfortable repping some character I have no interest in. This is my first tourney and if I end up repping freaking Animal Man or The Majestic, it's going to get difficult.

The caps prevent the first from occuring. And the 2nd is a spite match unless the damn Summers bloodline is involved.

i didn't make the rules. shrug

part of the problem is that we have:

bats, trick, eny, leo, scoob, bw, pr, phil, smurph, id, blaze (??), gundam, naija, cbd, kfish and maybe martian, and yet how many people have actually chimed in to give an opinion on any of the things being discussed? not enough. hence, we need less democracy, more flat out decisions or we'll just talk about this for the next bunch of months and nothing will come of it. 😬

I'll make executive decisions:

-The rules are as they stand. I'll confer with Digi on any necessary modifications.

-Each participant will choose 3 characters from their respective companies (street, meta, herald). You will not be able to pick from a random pool of characters, you must select 3 that you will personally represent.

-Each week 2 members (or more depending on final participant count) of each team will battle representing their character from the designated tier. Who those members are for each battle is up to the team's/captain's discretion, but no member can participate in consecutive battles (so that everyone get's a chance to participate), so choose wisely, and plan accordingly.

-This will be a Best of 11 Playoff. First team to 6 wins is crowned the champions.

-No switching sides.

-No random Marvel/DC team mixing.

-Have your rosters ready by 7/31. Members and Characters.
