The point is someone dared suggest that Thanos was in the top ten most powerful non abstracts in comics. He's not. Not eve close. If I did my home work and read all of my comics, I could come up with at least 30 that can put him in an early grave.

Despero is one of the strongest Sons of bitches in Comics. He outclasses the tuffest like Superman and Thor easily in the strength Dep. His TP and Tk are on beyond planetary lvls. He's far superior than MM in Telepathy. And MM is at least equal to proff xavier. He's got insane speed and can fight his ass off. He's one of the best hand to hand fighters around. That is who Despero is.

And Thanos has pwned a mind-gem wielding Moondragon with relative ease(pre-upgrades), brainwashed a herald and telepatically mindwiped a cosmic cube being.

Thanos was able to brain wash a cosmic being like Fallen One,Mangog & stoped Moondragon with the mind gem from reading his mind

ANd when did the mind gem become more powerful than every telepath in DC? Becuz you all seem to think the infinity gems trump every power in dc. Not so.The mind gem is NOT infinite in power. It only becomes that way when backed by the powergem. If it were, no one could stand up to it, not even thanos. there is no way to know if Moondragon with the mind gem is any more powerful thant Despero's flame of Pytar. Seeing as how Despero owns top tier telepaths easily, i'd think his mind powers are at an advantage.
