The flame of Pytar is cosmic and magic in nature. I dont' see why Despero would be at a disadvantage. And thanos hasn' t shown to be physically superior to Despero. Not in the least. You don't punk The champion, Silver surfer, Thor, The Maker, fallen One, Grandmaster,In-betweener etc for nothing, strength isn't everything it's Thanos vast intelligences that wins him the battles every time. Thanos is a eternal with the curse of death he can amp his strength to unknown levels he chooses not too.

Unknown lvls do not mean infinite lvls. Despero is no Pushover. So to make him seem like one isn't accurate at all.

In a battle where he gets no prep and knows nothing of his opponent, his intelligence won't get him all that far. He's likely have to resort to regular ole fighting. I haven't seen thanos fight many people in his range with no prep.

I would say it depends. I have seen Thanos fight many people without prep. And It also depends on IF Despero gets his original Body. his Original Body is even stronger and More durable than the possed bodies he takes over.

Are you serious? DEspero kicked the crap out of Two Kryptonians, Captrain marvel, Superman, WW and others. All of whom have Superspeed and flight. Thanos never handled those kind of Top tiers in those numbers before. Thanos has showings against very powerful opponents. But he had prep for those. I'd say they are nearly even.

Thanos has fought Hulk, Hercules, Thing and Thor on the same time. Literally beat Silver Surfer to death.
Not to mention gone toe to toe with Thor who was in Warrior Madness and had the Power Gem, Champion with the Power gem, gone against Odin...Tyrant. Each of those are more impressive then ANYTHING Despero has done.
And Virtue and Vice was the only issue where Despero did anything like that. And what happened in the same issue anyway? He got smacked by Hawkman and got hurt. Tear gas put him on his knees.
And that is just discussing hand to hand. I'm not even going into Thanos's blast power, which is capable of destroying a freaking planet.Thanos will pwn Despero. Simple as that.

Now I have to get you together. First off, Thanos has some use of Tech and Prep to fight Champion. Thor wasn't in his right mind and didn't use any of his battle skill to fight thanos. He would have cremed thanos with the PG if he was in his right mind. As evident that thanos couldn't even beat Champion with the PG. now imagine thor with it. That argument doesn't stand. Thanos also had prep to fight Tyrant. He was even using morgs power to help him in his fight. Nice try tho. I'm not impressed with thanos fighting professor hulk, or thing. Your not even realizing Despero wasn't even in his own body when he was handing the JLA and JSA thier asses. In his own body, he is a match for thanos. Please go read some Despero.
