Non-feat. Have you seen the Corps since Johns took over? High meta might be pushing it for some of them. Hell, Hal's "overcharged" ring when he was with a Blue Lantern was the closest we've seen to even hinting at former levels for them.

🙁

Engaged Emo mode? Meaning what?

Wallowing in self pity or in Hals case, going bat shit crazy and murdering everyone.

I hope the White Lantern, if there is one, turns out to be the supreme villain.

That would be sweet.

Yeah, probably a good thing.

Another thing im wondering, is how was is it that

Spoiler:
BL Firestorm was able to turn Gen into salt? I thought that all the firestorms could only change non organic things? Or has that been changed now, or is it an extra ability for BL's?

I think I've missed a bunch of stuff. What's been released so far?

Green Lantern Corps 33-38 were subtitled Prelude To Blackest Night and Green Lantern Corps 39-40 were subtitled Blackest Night. Green Lantern 39-43 were all subtitled Prelude Blackest Night.

Here's the list:

Only Jason is supposed to be able to do that as I recall. I wondered how that worked. But that was

Spoiler:
when they merged together
so that could be the reason. Or it could John's doing what he does. Ignoring power levels and such.

i'm not sure what exactly ronnie did to gehenna either. however, during his last series, professor stein revealed that firestorm has always been able to transmute organic matter. the reason ronnie never *used* to attempt such, is because he was always worried about the end product being unstable.

jason, on the other hand, has successfully transmuted organic matter [ie. killer frost.] so i wouldn't be surprised if BL-ronnie can do it successfully now as well.

Spoiler:
jason's going to kick the ever-loving shit out of him in the next issue though.

Seriously, incredible issue. Unfortunately this reinforces any thoughts we had regarding a white or rainbow lantern. On the flipside, it might actually not be so bad. This issue was perfect.

Who predicted Da White Lantern???

WHO IS THE ICOOOOOOOONNNN??? ME!!!!!!!!!

jiggy

Could a Mod add ***Spoilers Inside*** to the title of this thread??

I hate having to go through and do the spoiler warnings about every single thing I want to talk about...I dunno, would that be Kosher??

Yea i dont doubt that. Jason seems like a little

Spoiler:
professor himself. Ronnie even commented on all those formulas in his head. It seems like hes more of a brainiac than Ronnie. Thats gonna help him in the long run for sure. Im not sure if Ronnie was just bullshitting, but it sure took him long enough to come up with the formula for salt. Thats high school chemistry.

It's been a while, but didn't Ronnie always have a dangerous back lash whenever he transmuted organic matter?

Wouldn't surprise me. At all.
