They could be two! Hal would have a ring of every color but black, Kyle would wear a suit who would be like Burt Ward's Robin. And they would establish themselve in a new base.

In San Francisco. 😐

Here's what I think will happen:

Spoiler:
- Ray's not dead. He was hiding in Hawkman's ring.
- Barry tries to take a Black Lantern's ring off. The Black Lantern regrows it.
- Indigo Lanterns show up and are able to *kill* Black Lanterns by severing the connections to their rings.
- Black Lanterns are not the dead wearing rings, but the rings wearing the dead.
- Indigo-1 and Hal have to go find the leaders of the other 5 corps and use their light to recreate the "White Light of Creation."
- Jason gets sucked into Ronnie's mind and Ronnie kills Gen.
- Ronnie breaks into the JLA morgue and resurrects everyone there including Dr. Light, Alexander Luthor, and Max Lord

THINK? That's what you think will happen? Hmm, funny how you got all of them right

They don't call me genius for nothing.

Seriously, incredible issue. Unfortunately this reinforces any thoughts we had regarding a white or rainbow lantern. On the flipside, it might actually not be so bad. This issue was perfect.

Actually, it does the opposite. They never said a white lantern. From what I understand,
Spoiler:
the lights make up a qhite spectrum that entered the universe. It destroyed the black (now it's surrounded) but split into 7 colors. They never said the light was a lantern. They seem to channel the different light to create a white light

Blackest Night 3 felt like the real life equivalence of having Batman showing up to save your life, and tell you that everything's going to be okay. Geoff Johns is batman, with a pen.

Spoiler:
"Together the 7 corps of the light can reignite the white light of creation. Sounds pretty much like a white lantern to me.

But there was never a white lantern to being with. There was only light. Get it?

Thanks digi.

Spoiler:
If the combined powers of the corps manages to rival the demiurge power, I'll have a heart attack. It would simply be too awesome.
But that's not very likely.
Spoiler:
I get that it was just a light, but I can really imagine Hal Jordan wielding that power or something. Hopefully someone hands Johns a copy of Lucifer and has him read through it by the end of Blackest night. I don't want this retconning the creation even. Regardless, the indigo tribe is making a great impression. Not as big as BL Firestorm and Ray though!

He was a bad ass!

I think is inevitable that a

Spoiler:
White Lantern
will save the day. I wonder how will all the Corps get together when some of them cant stand each other. I dont see Larfleeze sharing. I dont see Atrocitus using common sense to help the GLC.

Maybe they won't have a choice when they are confronted with the Blackest Night. Which is why Hal might be the White Lantern. Because willpower is the action, which could be in disregard to the emotional state. All the corps, except Green, are driven by their emotions. But Green is the "driving" itself. It's the action, not necessarily the emotion which may mean that Green, being in the middle of the emotional spectrum will unify them.

In other words, if Green Lantern is Star Wars, Hal's gonna bring peace to the force.

However I predict there will be a couple of stumbling blocks along the way, before this happens and we see Hal as a White Lantern. I'm hoping Papa Jordan will make an appearance as a Black Lantern seeing as he's been soooo integral to GL since Geoff John's started writing Hal.

They have brought back way too many characters already. One more aint gonna hurt. Especially one so integral. Then again maybe his father wont be affected by the BL like Dove.

It's sad that the concept of the lantern corps is becoming more and more... like Sailor Moon.

man it really grinds my gears that hal is always the go to lantern for anything....this guy is like the Kanye of the Corp...just a complete half-cocked jerk bag who wants everybody to think he is some tortured soul who is misunderstood cuz he's been thru some personal tragedy...what about Guy? he is the only one who has never engaged Emo mode out of all the Earth lanterns, i think he should be the day saver

Spoiler:
Hawkman was cracking Hal's construct with ease, heh!

I can't really say that I cared much for

Spoiler:
Gehenna.
There was a time when I even doubted if
Spoiler:
she
really existed. But once it happened I couldn't help but feel pulled in. Maybe it was the brutality of it, that
Spoiler:
Jason
was literally forced to be a part of it.

Remember in Sinestro Corps war when Guy and John had been forced to watch all sorts of horrible things from the past. John was all shaken up and Guy was just "yeah, boo hoo, had to watch my girlfriend die again"
