but which corps is the most powerful ?

John's said Blue. I think he was assuming there was a GL around 😛

Green seem to be good all rounders, but otherwise Blue is pretty powerful. They boost GLs. They take away power form Sinestro Corps members and they are resistant to the Orange Lanterns (although it was a struggle.)

yeah, blue was stated to be the most powerful of the corps a while back.

i only kept up with the green lanterns pretty much and some yellow

Blue is definitely more powerful. Not just because of the statement which pretty much sums it all up, but the recent feats are pretty high.
-Can't be absorbed by blue
-Wont be burned by red
-Can take power from other beings who have hope
-De-charges yellow
-Charges green
-Can't be removed by force(red too)

And can reignite dying suns ✅

.....also and this sounds cheesy, but it takes a lot of stamina to be a Blue Lantern. If hope were easy.....it wouldn't really be hope.

i noticed theres a black lantern corps as well. what makes them different ?

They're all dead.

They are all dead. They can't seem to die. Fire holds them back. They can resurrect the dead with a ring, but only if the dead aren't in peace. Besides that, not much is known

I like the series so far, but I have no idea how the GLC is going to win

All the reasons mentioned above, plus the fact that the Black Lanterns aren't just any random zombie character, they are undead superheroes, villains and any dead character who has had any significant emotional impact.

Currently Black Lantern's range from Aquaman to Martian Manhunter to Dick Grayson's parents or to anyone else they kill and add a black lantern ring to.

However

Spoiler:
Mysteriously, The Original Dove character seems to be resistant to the Black Lantern's, with his body being described as "At peace"

They aren't. The White Lantern/s will save the day ✅

Or Hal Jordan, becoming the "Rainbow Lantern".

Who said they are going to win? At beast they will survive the onslaught.

I doubt anything about a White Lantern, rainbow lantern will appear in Blackest Night. The story is surrounds the character who were given a 2nd chance in live. Characters like Hal, Barry, Superman, Conner, Batman...etc. If a white lantern/s come and save they day just because they represent life, it would be stupid.

Guy Gardner killed the **** outta Bzzd.

i disagree. imo, a white lantern should be the equivalent to the black the way green is to yellow, and such.

But I genuinely think that will happen. It fits in with John's style of writing and his interviews would point towards a White Lantern of sorts. It might be Dove, Hal Jordan or even Hal Jordan's father at this rate.

Also, do you really think it's that stupid? Because I think guy flying around with a Green ring that makes imagination reality is silly, but I got over it pretty quickly. Zombie Lanterns are pretty stupid, but they're incredibly fun.

I do agree though that characters who have died and come back (but not as zombies) e.g. Superman, Flash, Green Lantern and Green Arrow will have a prominent role in the storyline.

I did read a interview where he dismissed any sort of white lantern theory made by fans. Though, I can't find it anymore. It was in the DC official board.

When I said stupid, I didn't mean stupid as in silly. I guess it was a bad choice of words. It should be predictable and blunt. The green spectrum is suppose to be the center of it all. Out of all colors, the green is in the middle, and the black is what surrounds all those colors. If anything, it should be the green ring that beat it.

I like the idea that the characters who have been given the second chance in live will be the onces to defeat Nekron, not a guy who has rainbow colors. If they are going to bring a powerful character, it would be Spectre, Phantom Stranger, or AM
