STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Liberator

"What was on them?" Farl asks.

Wentar sighs. "The voice on the unaltered tapes was Emso..."

Farl sits quietly for a moment, then turns the chair behind his desk- one of those floating egg-shaped types from his apartment on Coruscant- to face the viewscreen behind him, which displays the violent red sunset of Triskatan.

"Have you interrogated him yet?" Farl asks.

"I was on my way to see him when you called me up," Wentar says. "I intend to talk to him after I leave."

"See what you can find out," Farl says. "It pains me to think that my loyal assistant may be part of the conspiracy to have me murdered."

"It is a disturbing situation..." Wentar will go straight to Emso's holding cell right away, he wants to get to the bottom of this.

One of the top floors of Farl's Tower has a small holding unit. Really, this Tower is a town in its own right. You have heard of such massive buildings, like the Basilica of Mandragos... but that is for a non-profit religious sect, not one man!

Emso is being held in this place.

Or at least he was. When you arrive, every cell is empty.

Wentar is starting to fear that his request to keep Emso alive has been over ridden. He'll find the guy in charge and ask where Emso's been moved to.

"Headquarters," the officer reports. "Downtown. They just moved him."

"Who's orders?" Wentar asks.

"Chieftain Drufter's."

"Please let him know that I am on my way and that I would like to be the first one to question the prisoner," Wentar says as he leaves.

...Does Wentar even know where downtown is?

Not a clue! You have never been to Triskatan.

"The Chieftain isn't downtown. He's still in the Tower."

Well in that case Wentar will go find the Chieftain.

Drufter is in his office, his boots up on his desk.

"How can I help you, Master Jedi?" he asks.

"I noticed you had Emso moved," Wentar says. "Can you please tell me why?"

"The further away from his target the better, don't you think?" Drufter responds. "Why does it concern you?"

"I wish to speak with him, but I'm unsure where to find him," Wentar admits. "I've never been to Triskatan before. Perhaps you can help?"

Intuition says... something is bothering you.

"Master Jedi, I have that creep on full lockdown. He has shown technological prowess with how he sent those messages without being traced. I am not risking him getting loose and maybe sending a message to his employer or whatever.

"Second, you can't leave this Tower."

"Considering the security of this place I'm hard pressed to imagine any other place that would be more suited to securely hold him," Wentar says. "Is there no chance you can bring him back here so I might question him?"

Multiple things are bothering Wentar. Like the fact that out of everyone Emso has had the most opportunities to kill Farl, in fact I don't think I sensed any intention to harm Farl during any of our conversations. Also, as Wentar just mentioned, the security of this place is beyond insane, there is no way Emso would have been able to escape. Drufter's concern is laughable.
