If God knew that Satan would rebel and Adam and Eve would sin, why did He create?

The first Creation account appears in Genesis 1 and describes the simultaneous creation of both male and female human beings after all of the plants and animals have already been placed in the Garden of Eden. In this version man and woman are portrayed as equals and are both the pinnacle of God’s Creation.

The second Creation story appears in Genesis 2. Here man is created first and placed in the Garden of Eden to tend it. When God sees that he is lonely all the animals are made as possible companions for him. Finally the first woman (Eve) is created after Adam rejects all of the animals as partners. Hence, in this account man is created first and woman is created last.

These obvious contradictions presented a problem for the ancient rabbis who believed that the Torah was the written word of God and therefore it could not contradict itself. They therefore interpreted Genesis 1 so that it did not contradict Genesis 2, coming up with ideas such as the androgyne and a "First Eve" in the process. According to the theory of a "First Eve," Genesis 1 refers to Adam’s first wife, while Genesis 2 refers to Eve, who was Adam’s second wife. Learn more about the two versions of Creation and how they relate to Lilith in: Where Does the Legend of Lilith Come From?

I agree. They are all fiction.

Why would human create a concept of God? I think we saw something in nature that we didn't understand. We then named it. Just like we do today with dark matter and dark energy, they are just names for something we don't understand. God is the thing we don't understand. We whittle at God when we discover new things about the universe. And no, you don't have to call it God, you can call it the universe if you like. You can't offend God.

Oh ok. I genuinely wasn't aware of that. I thought that the Lilith myth was some sort of a proto-human creation myth that got refurbished by the more sexist scholars in later times.

No argument. Science finds something it cannot explain and looks for theories to explain them. Religions just attribute the same mysteries to a God of the Gaps.

Science does not say if we do not believe them, we will be tortured forever in hell.

Religions do and promote dark age thinking.

Why we would invent the concept of God. This tells us.

You will note that Lilith was the one told to reproduce. Not Eve.

Scriptures show that desire to do so was not in them till after they ate of the tree of knowledge.

IOW, they had to disobey before they could obey God's first command.

A glitch for God.

As to the two creations. What makes more sense. For God to create a man and woman at the same time, or, for God to create man and then realize that he was not complete and could not reproduce without a woman.

Is God that dumb?

That's because science—unlike religion—is epistemic in nature and has nothing to do with belief. If you were to question some phenomena in Quantum Field Theory I'd be there with my Hamiltonians and commutative relations to explain it and there'd be no room left for belief. It's not like you're able to choose to believe that grass isn't green after you've seen it.

What religions are you referring to and how do they promote a state of mind that was prevalent in the Dark Ages?

Then how did science spring out of religion and philosophy? I think you don't know much about religion.

Mostly the right wing of all Abrahamic cults.

It is my view that all literalists and fundamentals hurt all of us who are moral religionists as well as those who do not believe. They all hurt their parent religions and everyone else who has a belief or not. They make us all into laughing stocks and should rethink their position. There is a Godhead but not the God of talking animals, genocidal floods and retribution. Beliefs in fantasy, miracles and magic are evil.

The last thing I am going to do is to look at a video. If you want to talk to me, then talk to me. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

Then remain dim.

You know Feynman had a point when he said that things you can't explain are things you don't understand.
