Pirates vs Ninjas (seriously)

Who would win in a historical, real life battle?

Pirates vs Ninjas (seriously)

I know that people love to argue about who would win between these two people, but it's generally not "serious" and they just say random stuff like "oh ninjas they know kung-fu (ninjas are japanese no chinese!)" or "ninjas they can disappear" blahblahblah.

Who wants to actually debate who would win historically?

Pirates

Let's see the guys with the guns or the guys with the swords hmm

Anyway the conditions of the fight are the most important factor. Without those it's impossible to decide.

Ninjas because they can stalk you at anytime.

Not if you're in the middle of the ocean.

According to Naruto (which is historically accurate) ninjas can walk on water . . .

First of all, the Pirates will be arrogant dicks who creep into the forrest.

Then the ninja can pop out of trees and stealth kill them.

The pirates can't stay on the sea forever.

Pirates got guns and canons too.

Right 🙄

People keep piling on the mystique for pirates in order to make them seem like the equals of ninjas. There's no hard evidence that pirates had anything of the sort. 😬

True that. Just look at this historical piece, how are the pirates going to deal with this level of skill and bad-assery? They can't, no way, no how. Mind you, this is a white ninja, they're at the bottom of ninja-dome and look what happens to a guy with a modern gun.

The ninjas have katanas.
The pirates have guns.

1 - 0 pirates.

The ninjas are pro stalkers.
The pirates drink beers, get laid, are pimps and have bling bling.

2 - 0 pirates.

Pirates ftw.

I am being serious and not stupid.

Ninjas would win in almost any scenario.

not in direct combat probably not. definitely not if the pirate in question has a gun.

Since a ninja is all about NOT having direct combat, then they would win in almost any real world scenario.

The only direct combat I can think of is the surprise attack on the Iga stronghold.

Since when do Pirates travel far inland and attack a stronghold?

Certainly would.

Ninja's had all sorts of projectiles (which did not include throwing stars.) Guns were definitely around when Ninjas were around...so why would a ninja still be around if guns totally nulled ninjas? You do know that Japan was using guns much sooner than the Europeans, right?
