STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Broken

"No, I would certainly think the same...especially as I believe that that box is what caused the massive chasm," she responds. "Would you be able to tell us where to find this Dame Astrune?"

"She lives in the Astrune District, named for her family and their company," the General says, shaking his head. "It is a place of lavishness and boredom; the so-called nobles there actually provide the greatest amount of trouble on Ord Coridari with their power plays and scheming. A distasteful bunch, the lot of them."

Rianna looks over to Vera-Kin, wondering if the Jedi Master has any questions or other thoughts to add.

"Might we borrow one of your speeders?" Vera-Kin asks. "We do not wish to take up the time of your men, nor do we want to put them at any unnecessary danger. The three we are after are formidable fighters, utilizing the teachings of the Jedi. We can handle them, but it is doubtful that your men could."

"Be my guest," the General says. "Be careful with it. I will have Lieutenant Colonel Nehmen set one up for you. Keep me informed, if you could, about anything that happens. This city is my business, and I must know if something terrible is going on within it."

Hirget nods to Nehmen, who is going to show you to your landspeeder.

"We will do our best to do so."

Rianna will prefer if Vera-Kin drives the speeder, as if Rianna can at all, it wouldn't be very well...😛

I do not think that Vera can either, so it will have to be Barrkyyshyr at the wheel! Though he is more the fighting type anyway so the point is moot.

Vera-Kin will respectfully thank the General for his time, though her gruff and strict manner clashes with her own. She then walks out with Rianna.

"What do you think? Will Rand try to break into this Dame Astrune's place?"

"I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to talk his way in, though you know him far better than I do," Rianna replies. "Regardless, I doubt he will stay hidden for long..."

"That is a possibility that we shouldn't ignore, but I don't know why anyone would want to deal with him now," Vera-Kin says. "But I feel the same. We are here now and he knows it. Things will happen."

"Well, whatever is going to happen, I almost hope it will sooner rather than later. I don't like the idea of just waiting to see what he's going to do, without actually being able to do anything about it...it makes me feel helpless," Rianna admits. "I think we should go and see this Dame, though. At least we know where this Box is."

Nehmen will take you back down the lift to the yard and show you to the speeder that he picked you up in, on the way giving you directions to the Astrune Quarter of Ine. Barker reluctantly takes the wheel of the speeder and Nehmen seems loath to let the hairy beast drive the speeder but neither says (or growls) anything about it.

If there is nothing else, you can make your way to the Dame Astrune's compound.

Rianna can't really think of anything else to do...she just wants to get this over with.

Then you take your leave of Fort Ine. You can see General Hirget high above you in the commander center's window, watching you go.

It does not take long to reach the Astrune Quarter- the Fort seems to be located at the intersection of several districts within Ine. The Astrune Quarter is the richest part of the city, marked with a tremendous archway inlaid with thousands of tiny jewels that cause it to glitter in the sun, and the streetway under it is literally paved with gold.

The super-size mansions and sprawling mall complexes are all lavishly decorated and designed, a cluster**** of architectural styles from all over the Galaxy.

You come to a halt at what you have been told is the Astrune residence, a home composed almost entirely of the Star Wars equivalent of white marble in the style of a Greek temple. The front of the house sports several high Doric columns, but the mansion slopes down from there behind that. They are striped with gold.

"How...tacky," Rianna says, looking about her. She's going to see if she can Sense anything.

"Ridiculous," Vera-Kin says. "I could understand if this was some sort of government building or a temple of worship but... this is a house. Though that means good things for us, I suppose. Rand cannot offer her anything she cannot already buy."

"No, I wouldn't think so..." Rianna replies, though thinking to herself, unless there is something she wants that she cannot buy...

Barker just growls distrustfully of the giant house.

You do not sense anything out of place, Rianna.

Well, that's good. At least Rianna is fairly certain that Rand isn't there.

But can you be really certain of that?

No, but previously she's felt something is off every time he (or one of his students) did end up being in the area, so she's at least somewhat certain!

Anyway, may as well approach the mansion...
