Astrune retreats from the room while Tineas reappears to show you to the Dame's dojo, this time composed of wood for a more calming atmosphere, with carpets and wall hangings in Corellian green.
"I will halt the fight if things go too far," Tineas informs you before standing off to the side of the dojo.
Astrune returns wearing a black karate gi.
"Are you ready, Jedi?" she asks.
(Blade schticks, if you will...)
Astrune has begun charging you before you even finish your sentence, and you go to ignite your lightsaber... only to find that it is not functioning, losing you your attack in the first turn!

Barker asks you what just happened, Vera-Kin.
"What," Vera-Kin says, not as a question. She does not condone the fight but decided not to get in Rianna's way as it seemed to be the only reasonable way that Dame Astrune would let the lightsaber go. When she sees Rianna about to be mauled by the charging Astrune, thinking of the violence of Bhesj Eharl, she thinks of its name, 'Impatient Trickster.'
"Dammit," Vera-Kin says, turning to Tineas. "Your mistress has advertised falsely."
She reaches for her own lightsaber to activate it, feeling threatened by the deception.
Vera-Kin, you flip the switch on your lightsaber... and nothing happens. Tineas just laughs.
"Security measure of the estate," Tineas says.
Rianna clips her lightsaber to her belt just as Astrune meets her with a flying kick to the face. The bare foot connects with your cheek and sends you spinning to the floor for six damage.

"What is the matter, Jedi?" Astrune asks. "Not one for surprises?"
Rianna gets initiative! She springs back from the kick nimbly and launches her punch first. Her pool is brought down to 9 by Astrune's high Defense but that is still quite a lot of dice. She only pulls off two successes for four damage to the Dame, who snaps out an arm to block the attack.
She then grabs and twists your arm before bending forward and launching a kick that comes from over her shoulder! She rolls four successes and deals out 8 damage as her foot slaps into your chest and pushes you back.

Astrune goes in for yet a third powerful kick, this time launching herself into the air with a powerful roundhouse, tapping Leaping Attack. This brings her Combat pool up to a staggering 16 dice, lowered back to 12 by Rianna's Defense. She ramps up only four successes, though, for 9 damage. But the stipulation of the tap means that she gets to go again with a second kick, and her feet actually leave the ground as she rolls a success and knocks Rianna over with another 6 damage.
Rianna, on the other hand, snaps up a foot from the ground and kicks Astrune solidly in the knee for 7 damage in a rather less impressive display.

Initiative goes to... Rianna! Tapping into the Force to enhance the strength and accuracy of her attack, Rianna comes back with a strong punch to Astrune's solar plexus. Rianna's Strike negates the penalty of Leaping Attack, giving her nine dice. Four successes gives Astrune 8 points of damage as Rianna's fist blurs and connects.
Astrune seems minded to retaliate with extreme prejudice for your daring to hit her. She taps Martial Artist, performing a series of painful blows to Rianna's upper torso with surprising speed. Her attack comes out to be twenty dice... but she only gets four successes for 7 damage. However, she also taps Street Fighter and gets another 6 damage on her second attack.
