Wolverine 2 movie

It's interesting that they've decided to make it a sequel to all the X-men movies, I mean that's not the direction I was expecting them to take by a long shot.

Mathew Vaughn is out. Singer is apparently back in charge and will direct First Class 2.

w-whats up with that?

What?! Why the f*** are they doing that?!

Do they want to throw out what made First Class great and add some Superman Returns s*** to it!

Am I the only one that didn't think First Class was that great?

I thought it was very hit or miss when it came to it's scenes and characters.

Either they were really good or really stupid.

No you are right about that. I always say that it has the highest highs of all the X-Men movies, but also the lowest lows. About half of it was great, and the other half is cringe induce awful.

Imo First Class was definitely the best X-film... Which isn't saying a lot, but it's saying something.

I enjoyed it, tbh... Mainly because of Bacon/Shaw.

Shaw was the best part of the film for me, after that Magento and Prof X. Followed by any interaction between those 3 characters.

Most of the students were stupid along with a lot of the interactions with them and between a lot of other people minus the 3 mentioned above. 😛

Agree completely. The roster of 'students' was horrid.

Shaw/Xavier/Magneto (and a fairly interesting plot) made that film. Still think it was the best X-film by a pretty good margin. 😉

I don't know if I would put it above the first one. It's been awhile since I've seen it but I think it was pretty well done with some good characters in it.

The first one was pretty weak. I prefer First class Magneto over Ian's Magneto. Shaw had a decent plan while Magneto's in the original movie was a bit of a stretch. Plausible by comic book standards but felt cheesy in the movie.

Some part of me just died.

Eh, it's true though. There were some genuinely horrific parts of the movie. I agree with the consensus that the student's sucked.

That one scene where they're all ****ing around in the party room- Beast's hanging from the ceiling (is that supposed to be cool?), the Darwin dude was letting the other guys beat him with a baseball bat...

It's like, the writer/director said "Okay, I want a scene where these young people are acting wild and young, to show they're irresponsibility", but he had no idea how real-life young people actually act.

It was pretty cringe-inducing.

Also, the fights all sucked, imo.

Because it was a smart movie with actual "Actors", instead of "Stars". Plus it was nice to have an X-Men movie that wasn't all about Wolverine for a change.

If people love Wolverine well they have Wolverine movies for that. No need to turn "X-Men" into "Wolverine and Friends."

But yeah I can understand people may think the students were crap. The movie were all about Charles and Eric really.

Interesting see if they can tease a connection to SHIELD, with Viper being an important supporting villain here. What is Hydra without SHIELD?

I'm also surprised no one has posted the trailer yet.
