My guess for Silver Samurai is he gets beaten by Wolverine and then he uses a robot suit for a rematch from what i've seen so far of pictures.
that is certainly plausible..

Hugh Jackman Explains why THE WOLVERINE is not WOLVERINE 2
"Spinning out of the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, Logan (Hugh Jackman) travels to Japan where he falls for the beautiful Mariko Yashida (Tao Okamoto) to the grave displeasure of her father Yashida (Hal Yamanouchi) and her half-brother, the fearsome Silver Samurai (Will Yun Lee). But this isn't Logan's first trip to the Land of the Rising Sun or his first encounter with the Yashida clan.

Alright, so the NBA finals had a 30 second TV spot for The Wolverine, and there has been a new international trailer released as well. Lots of new scenes, some great dialogue, I just keep getting more and more excited!
You can see the skeleton of the movie Daren Arronofsky would have made the new trailer. Shame it's marred by and the goofy FOX changes they crowbar-ed in when James Mangold came on to direct.
FOX Executive: She's called Viper... so what if she has like snake powers or something? That will sell action figures!!!! What about this Silver Samurai? He should probably be a giant robot right?
Genius. F@ck you FOX!

I have to agree with you when it comes to Viper, I really don't get why she needed powers. That so far has been my one real disappointment with this film.
I actually like their Silver Samurai. It would be one thing if they made him a robot, but that's not the case. He's a mutant, Shingen's illegitimate son, who dons a mech suit at one point. I think it's a great idea, combining the style and feeling of intimidation from the original, with the very modern, high tech vibe that the current one has.
From reading multiple cast member's interviews, watching every trailer, and listening to several of Jackman's Q & A's, I really believe that they understand the themes, tones, and essential plot elements this film needs to convey, and I hope that they've done as great of a job as it appears they have.

If Silver Samurai is a robot then explain this
that's why i've been thinking he gets defeated by Wolverine and uses a robot suit for round 2.
Three new Wolverine TV spots:

I have to say, I love Mangold and Jackman's take on this character, I think it looks incredibly interesting, and I am so stoked for this film! Everything new we see gets me more and more pumped, maybe I'm crazy/naive/foolish, but I can';t wait for the 26th!
