Noone works in Europe, people there live off money government gives them after it picks it off trees and sometimes, like in Norway, it just pulls it out if its own ass.

Jesus people, I said raise taxes OR put us more into debt.

If a program is low on money then they can raise taxes to make up for the cost of it OR they can borrow money from someone else (like the Chinese, whoever) and put us more into debt. 🙄

I don't know where either one of you read where I said raising taxes would put us into debt.

I don't really see how your argument is supposed to make any kind of impact given we all want the US to raise taxes. Saying they'll have to raise taxes doesn't exactly strike fear in my heart.

Yeah, it kind of gives me hope of getting a pay raise, getting more benefits, driving on safer roads (and not worrying about chunks of the Yale/I-25 overpass crushing my car as happens to 10 people per year), and being able to buy more and better crap.
