LOTR RP Game part 1- Journey to Fornost

So I'm getting full marks for bravery, and marks made by the swords about to skewer me?

Anyway...

Talin looses his grip on his sword and swings out his axe, swinging at the approaching Orc and then at the Chiorc. He decides to back out after that a little and gives the Chiorc some space.

(Well, maybe you will get stoved rather than skewered...)

The Chiorc flings his ball and chain upwards and your sword is flung away behind it (where wr can say it lands on an orc, for comic effect). Your axe meets the approaching sword of the orc, but both your weapon and your strength are the stronger and with a mighty clang the orc is thrown back, his weapon sliced off at the top.

Then the ball swings into your side. It feels as if a troll just scooped you up and threw you away. Your mail is dented to the point where it tears and you think a rib breaks, but it is hard to concentrate as you fly a short distance through the air and land heavily nearby.

The Chiorc laughs, nastily...

I think I'll stay in the front lines. It's my fault the side lines broke. Mind if I head for the second gap in the line or should I stay in my current position?

Well, if you leave that fight, Talin, the front lines will collapse as well seeing as you were all that was carrying on the fight there.

(I was just thinking how good I've gotten at not posting as BB... 😠 )

Okay, Talin heads back towards the Chiorc again. Ush, what would be one of the Chiorc weak points? I've lost my sword so I can't do that trick again.

He is 'only' a big orc. He doesn't like the sun (and if it were not for that sudden burst of low cloud he'd be at a disadvantage for this fight, as would all the Orcs) and he fears a superior enemy. Other than that, you may as well ask the weak point of Aragorn; shove a sword through him and he is as dead as anyone else but doing it is the trick.

With the front lines mostly shattered, orcs are starting to stream towards the middle from there also, ignoring the fight of their leader. But one man, maybe with more bravery than sense, has stayed with you to fight him, Talin.

Talin edges closer to the Chiorc again. He picks up a spear from a fallen Orc and jabs it in the Chiorc's direction.

"Beware of his ball and chain! He's already hit me with it, and it's hurts!" Talin calls to the other brave man.

"You don't say!" yells the man back.

You and the Chiorc square off for a few moments as it tried to judge how best to deal with a spear-wielder.

Well, with Farael and Aranui doing their Dunadain double (de doo dah dah) they are slowing the break in the right half of the line, and you are there stopping anyone coming through at all.

If you went to the other side some will start to go through that first hole, but not many. You might seal the other gap also.

The other gap being the side lines right?

That's not a gap, that is a nothingness! I meant the second hole in the front lines. There are four people covering a ten-man line.

(Can I crawl up on top of the caravan with Vardalain?)

Will fires another arrow at a nearby Orc. He strings two arrows and puts them in an Orc's arm.

He calls to the man. "Grab a spear! He has trouble with them!" Then Talin tries to get the Chiorc in the gut with his spear.

vardalain risks a bit and gets more out of his cover to have a cleare view on chiorc. he again opens fire on him

(Almost everyone is out to get the Chiorc...)

Meanwhile, some 12 orcs are preparing to give battle in the middle and another ten are dashing in from the front lines where most have fled.

William, yes, you may climb up if you wish... Vardalain, you are climbing up the damn thing again... you are getting pretty tired of this!

"I don't have a clue how to use a spear!" yells your comrade, Talin. The Chiorc flips up its ball and cahin and wraps a length around its arm in preperation for a short blow, although you are still at range.

(if that's the only way to get him...oh well)

I take the super mega giga tera risky shot and fire at Chiorc.In the moment I fired I jump down and get cover.

Anglomir continues slashing at Orcs. He heads for the gap where only 4 men are fighting the Orcs.
