Clarification on how the beta's going to work, since apparently people saw "beta!" and assumed it meant "unlimited open beta!" which is...not how they ever have done things.

NDA on the press beta is lifted on Monday.

Can't wait to see what goodies they reveal about the game...

So basically even if the area you're trying to load into is at capacity, you don't have to just wait for it to open up. You can still play while waiting in the server queue.

Some stuff that they're making updates to and adding for the betas (and obviously the game itself).

So all evening long on twitter various people working on GW2 have been teasing about some big surprise that's going to be revealed tomorrow. No idea what it's going to be (ideas I've seen involve more detailed beta schedule, game release info...and unicorn costumes. Yeah I have no idea), but just a heads up on that 😊

It's probably the new Jedi class they're implementing into the game.
