Humans are living beings requiring nourishment to sustain life and reproduce to keep the species continuing, like animals (or plants for that matter). Unanimously shared traits end there.A bird is nothing like a human. A fish is nothing like a human. Even apes are radically different from humans.
Also, as far as "handing off your daughter" goes, it is less that the Bible advocates it and more that the culture promoted it, like you said.
So, are you saying that a person who is mentally handicapped, to the point were they have a brain function of that of a fish, is not human, and is an animal?
how so? i mean more often they use cloning techniques for plants or wanting to grow certain types of animals so we can eat and not consume an entire resource.. possibly use cloning to replenish food stock like fish.
if we dont start using cloning we will eventually consume certain resources on the planet and have us starving and animals going into extinction. dont you think cloning can be used for noble ends or is not being used for noble ends?

I have no problem with it, in a couple hundred years from now. Right now, we are like cavemen playing with a gun.
i am scared of what she is implying.
direct manipulation of our food resource goes back thousands of yrs from breeding programs and herding and plant splicing.
we are simply taking the next step which in itself isnt that bad... instead of letting a certain bull or whatever inseminate an egg we are simply taking the sperm and making sure that the egg gets the right traits that we find desirable.. like size and muscle/fat.
if ppl dont want their animals to be manipulated in anyway they should then go hunt wild steer and good luck with that.
lets be honest where is the line drawn and why? what makes one form of manipulation over another better?

Wild steer? 😆 I think the cow is so far removed from it's wild ancestor, that they are no longer the same animal.

dont laugh its not funny.. i mean you wont run into a giant bull or cow running feral with tusk and a winter coat but you might find this in cali up in the hills in san diego near camp pendleton firing range.not sure if u would be charged with a federal crime if caught or if u manage to kill it.
Well, you can't use a gun, because that was made by humans. Hands only; I think we would become vegetarian.
BTW, beautiful animal.
