did you know the bible advocates violence to ppl that are not hebrews if they do not allow you to go through their land and property nor share its resources?

even tells you when they say no to kill them all including the animals.. only keep the virgin women and animals for use..

bashing babies against rocks and whatnot..

I think you are going off topic.

i mention the animal killing and implied that in itself might be wrong. 😎

OK, but most Christians believe that humans are not animals.

okay.. what does that have to do with advocating slaughter of animals simply b/c they were property of another race/group of ppl?

Because it was done by man. According to Christianity, it is not a sin to kill animals. However, is it a sin for animals to kill humans?

b/c of the garden of eden thing, right? when was it stated or are u assuming it was implied?

It is a common belief; most likely taken from Genesis (Garden of Eden thing).

gotta support the statement.. 😐

the common belief of layman readers which often they dont read the bible and let others tell them isnt always right..

example:

the hell comment is sheol its nothing what ppl think it is and its the most common belief due to revelation which isnt even part of the original text like the torah nor emmanuels life story... its a random excerpt added in at the finish but ppl think its gospel b/c the church and others say so.

hell, most ppl dont even know who emmanuel is and what his name translation really is or means.. 😈 😮‍💨

What do you want as support of a common belief?

and the word was spoken thou shall not eat of man.

go fourth and procreate of your kind and multiply among the earth.

if you disobey thou shall be marked as my adversary and cursed be thy kin..

something like that but from the bible in order for it to be considered a sin.

You mean you want me to quote from the bible? Ask someone who believes in that stuff. I don't want to waist my time. 🙂

fun fact :

did you know that the bible advocates incestuous relations with one's daughters

It does no such thing.
Leviticus 20:

12 And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
14 And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
15 And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
16 And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

Definitely not advocating incest.

It is not a sin for animals to kill humans, because animals cannot sin.

And humans are animals. 😉

there are also a few moments in the bible where it does happen and its the only possible way for procreation..

i dont want to post the video since i dont advocate its bias interpretation of incest in the bible...

but trust me it has happen in the bible without punishment from gawd nor intervention like it was just another day.

either way fun fact:

did you know the bible advocates the handing your daughters to strangers so you can lie with them.. its good hospitality.. 😎

gotta love or condemn the culture of ancient times and its race.

Humans are living beings requiring nourishment to sustain life and reproduce to keep the species continuing, like animals (or plants for that matter). Unanimously shared traits end there.

A bird is nothing like a human. A fish is nothing like a human. Even apes are radically different from humans.

Also, as far as "handing off your daughter" goes, it is less that the Bible advocates it and more that the culture promoted it, like you said.

its also the cultures religion.. if you dont do it and claim to be following the bible then u are nitpicking the bible out of preference.

fun fact:

did you know that parents can kill unruly children if they disobey its the same as disobeying god..

Yeah, those OT laws were strict. 😛 But the question arises; What is considered an "unruly child"? Thief? Murderer?

umm.. "disobeying"...

iirc it u raise a hand against parent... or say no... you would think the difference of other crimes would be higher then others but the bible is kooky that way.

fun fact:

did you know the bible advocates government dissent and vandalizing of holy temples..

Naw, modern terminology.

As for vandalizing holy temples, ask Jesus what He thought about when the temple was defiled. If I recall, he whooped some Jewish ass. 😐

sigh... it was clear in the bible sport.

Deuteronomy 21:18-21 ESV “If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them, (19) then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives, (20) and they shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This our son is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.’ (21) Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones. So you shall purge the evil from your midst, and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

Exodus 20:12 ESV “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.

Exodus 21:15-17 ESV “Whoever strikes his father or his mother shall be put to death. (16) “Whoever steals a man and sells him, and anyone found in possession of him, shall be put to death. (17) “Whoever curses his father or his mother shall be put to death.

Titus 2:3-5 ESV Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, (4) and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, (5) to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

today, he be doing time for assault and battery and destruction of private property, trespassing and be charge with the failure to show respect to the court when emmanuel double talks and not answer questions.
