I've never been a fan of Jeremy, but he'd get in my good books if he stabs Elena a few more times.

We can only hope!

This show has gotten so boring and repetitive. There's always some kind of dance, they never go to school, they all date each other, and they just argue back and forth with the "bad guys". And gawd and Elena is the most irritating, stupid, fuglyish character ever written. Some one please kill her and bring back Kat.

This has always annoyed me to no end. There's at least 2 or 3 dances/festivals in every season. Is it really necessary?

It's just so they can have couple scenes and dress up lol

Matt is just another used toy tossed aside. They eff'ed his brain right up, now he is a perpetual omega.

This show is mostly written by women right?

I like Jeremy because right now he's a:

Also why I like Damon.

Basically, I just want someone to come in kill people, phuck shit up, and not care. That's not too much to ask.

For that reason alone I want Damon to have been aware of the sire thing and took full advantage on purpose. F**k those 2 bitches Stephan and Elena.

Problem is that Damon gets entangled in the angst as much as anyone else on the show. He hasn't been badass since season 2 at the latest.

Elijah is better in every conceivable way.

Elijah doesn't even do anything.

Last thing I remember Damon doing was getting pissed and killing Kol, was that season 2?

Right now Jeremy is the loose cannon. 👆

Which was the result of angst.

Being emo and going out and killing people because everyone prefers your brother and doesn't give a shit about you because of your emo-ness might seem cool to some people, but it's still emo.

Elijah, on the other hand, well... he handles the angst thrust upon him with deadly poise and charm.

In comparison, Damon looks and dresses like a Fall Out Boy reject, whose only talent is the acrobatics that his eyebrows can perform.

Nothing you said has anything to do with what I've been talking about.

I get it, you like Elijah, I dont care.

I like anyone who shakes things up.

Nah, you said you wanted someone to come in, phuck shit up, and not care. You also said that's why you like Damon.

Problem is, Damon cares to the point of being an emo right down to the haircut. All he needs is scars on his wrist.

Sorry if my mancrush makes your mancrush look bad, but try something else besides "ur point is irrelevant" (it wasn't) and "i dont care" (you do).

Damon broke Kol's neck without caring about the consequences. The reason he did it is irrelevant.

Jeremy stabbed Elena and Stefan. The reason he did it doesn't matter.

They were both actions that phucked up the status quo.

So like I said, your post has nothing to do with what I was talking about.

I see.

So on a show where the status quo involves routine violence... Damon and Jeremy break it up by more routine violence?

TVD has been on a downhill slide since the first half of season 3.

Uh...there are obviously times were acts of violence go against the status quo, if you can't see that, I don't know what to tell you.

Certain attacks are meant to be shocking, let's not pretend that just because violence is prevalent that some actions don't invoke more surprise. If Elijah, for example, came back and ripped off Damon's head that would be similar to what I've been saying I wanted.

You and me both, brother.
Problem is, neither of the examples you provided really qualify.

Kol is a tertiary character who threatens the main characters; attacking him really doesn't break the status quo for numerous reasons: a.) he's a bad guy, b.) Damon is known for recklessly attacking those who [should] smite him effortlessly, and c.) the attack Damon used was only incapacitating and, predictably, Kol survived.

Jeremy attacking Stefan and Elena were similarly predictable, his "destiny"/predisposition/fascination with the role of the Hunter was alluded to throughout the present arc and his attack of Elena was foreshadowed via hallucination/dream sequence. Had he killed one of them or had the attack not been so thoroughly choreographed, I'd agree.

What was much more deviant from the status quo was Stefan killing and turning a guy to be fodder for Jeremy. Of course even that is somewhat diminished by the fact that dude was a murderer and someone for whom the audience has zero attachment.

This show has long lost its balls, I'm hoping they'll come back.

Tonight's episode was great.

Didn't catch it. Elijah back yet?

No, but a bunch of stuff happened, I'll spoil it if you want.

Just watched it. All the moral equivocation aside that has run amok on this show, Klaus is a badass mutha.

And Tyler stepped up to be a man!
