Reed Richards & Dr Doom Vs Thanos

Started by OneDumbG09 pages

^ I laid scan after scan on him and you too in past threads. My waiting for a controlled thread so that I don't have to engage in this nonsensical debate over and over and over again with him or you doesn't serve to validate either of your positions. As I said, you let me know when you do want to debate this.

And still Reed + Doom >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Thanos.

all other debates aside, this is the one completely unarguable fact of this thread, imo.

...and not because reed 'has a detailed map of the omniverse in his head' either.

I agree, just like it doesn't validate yours either. 😬

The only thing that validates my position concerning Marvel,
is Marvel on panel facts,
that are corroborated by confirmation in official Marvel Handbooks. 🙂

Ya, but then again, one can pick and/or choose any of the other reasons:

The Guy has been stamped as something special by TOAA himself,
in person no less.

The Guy has tech that can turn Galactus into a human being,
tech that can scour the MultiverseS,
tech that can rearrange reality on a cosmic scale
or tech that can simply sunder the Omniverse.

And best of all,
the guy is Marvel's #1 plot device.

I never said it did. So you're not pointing out anything new.

That's your opinion. Because my interpretation is that the on-panel facts support and validate my position. And I don't need corroboration by handbooks because of how obviously they are presented.

Well, you're pointing out, or atleast alluding, how my interpretation is basically wrong.
So, I simply threw back at ya what is just as plausible concerning your stance.

So, you're not pointing out anything different either.

And sorry, but I do enjoy the fact
that the official Marvel Handbooks corroborates my interpretation.

So in essence, it's your interpretation
vs
Mine ... & Marvel's writers interpretation.

And hey, that's cool and I respect that.

Actually, I stated that your interpretation was basically wrong much earlier in the thread. That wasn't the message behind my response located at the very top of this page.

The message behind that response was that your offering of scans and me waiting to engage in a controlled battle-zone type thread doesn't add any credence whatsoever to your opinions. The same way where I had offered scans and either quanchi112 or you did not immediately offer any responses didn't mean that my scannage was validated.

So when you tried to point out that such actions don't validate my opinions, I responded that I never claimed such actions validated my opinions. Which is why you didn't point out anything new in my opinion because you misinterpreted me. Indeed, that was half the point I was trying to make.

Now... apparently, your position regarding the above exchange was that I simply stated you were wrong and you threw it back at me. But you disconnected the meaning from my two different statements and conflated them to justify your response to my second statement. My second statement dealt with the general idea of false validation. It had nothing to do with my opinion of your interpretation. Thus your response to my second statement is ultimately inaposite.

Projecting your opinions onto Marvel writers doesn't transform them into objective truth. They're still just your opinions, as are mine.

Again, as I've said numerous times throughout this thread... Doom & Reed win this matchup with the stipulations of this thread, and its not much of a contest.

Not canon to the real Thanos.

You really think that it would make some difference, if it would be the real Thanos against Squirrel Girl? No way.

If Thanos has no idea that they have plan to attack him and they have prep, then team wins.

Anyway, Squirrel Girl owns them.
