I'm curious as to how it will go down, but either way Taskmaster will finally get some of the limelight. While I think it's ludicrous for him to take on Thor, it would be nice to see him take on Cap and Bucky, and hopefully, win.

Well considering Gage has shown he knows how powerful Thor should be (he had the clone pretty much tear the Initiative base apart and beat damn near everyone), and the fact he knows Tasky's limits, I'm sure we're not going to have Taskmaster beat Thor through anything other than a plot device

Are you kidding me? A comic book company that released a comic that has a cover where something different happens in the comic? You're actually, in any way at all, surprised by this?

Besides, he kind of fights Thor. He wacks him with his shield. And besides, the cover was "about" the concept of Taskmaster moving onto the big leagues, rather than literally him singlehandedly facing down Thor

Initiative was good, but all of the asgardian still suffer from extreme fodder-itis. It doesn't matter how afraid of all these villains are or how spooky Thor and his people look. Fact of the matter is that they're cutting through these class 40, superhumanly durable vikings with 10k + years of practice like they're a bunch of god damned Hand Ninjas. Thor went down like a sack of potatoes, practically all of HAMMER are one-shotting Asgardians and we see Ares taking down Heimdall with relative ease next.

Always been a Taskmaster fan, so it's good to see him get some of the limelight.

Yeah, PIS comics so far.

I can forgive it fairly easily in The Initiative though. The writing there is solid and they're putting the focus on some of the smaller guys. Nothing wrong with hearing about Constrictor's motivation and reasons for this. Dark Wolverine however, that shit does not cut it.

The entire issue has tons of homo-erotic undertones. Loads of Asgardians, despite being gods, are easily slaughtered by Osborn and Daken. At the end of the issue it appears that Daken has impaled Osborn on one of his claws and then shoved a claw through Osborn's exposed face.
