So then why, FFS, would you enter this thread on comic day, when you haven't read it?

Clearly you know the spoilers situation better than anybody.

Clearly the comic and its unspoiled contents are incredibly important to you.

Why take the risk?

Since the rule has been introduced, I've honestly not had many, if any, comics spoiled for me. There have been some discrepancies, but nothing truly spoiled.

You're not going to win this argument by saying: "People ignore the rules." and trying to make me accept that. No mod would tell me to accept that.

If it wasn't a rule, fine, but it is. He was breaking a rule no matter if I entered the thread or not.

Joesha is right. It's a discussion thread about newly released arc. Obviously, people will be chatting about it in here, where it should be. You should expect in this this thread just like the Blackest Night thread.

Your basically a wanker.

Nuul, really, stop addressing me if you're gonna have me on ignore.

I don't read Blackest Night, but if there are spoilers there, that's rules being broken.

I dont see the Blackest Night thread all in a mess, I wonder why?

Side note, does anyone know if Asgards big guns like Ymir and Surter going to pop up in this event?

Most people use Spoiler Tags, but there are still some that don't, but in a thread that is all about a new series/arc you have to expect people to talk about something that just came out. It's kinda common knowledge that a thread discussion a new movie that just came out should have some spoilers in them. Though, Kris seemed to have done it intentionally, so that's other matter

Mods can't unspoil a comic for you.

All that I'm saying was that if it was so incredibly important to you, and if you've been waiting so incredibly long, you should have stayed out of the thread for a single day.

He was wrong to spoil it. I'm not arguing that, and I'm not taking up issue with the rule.

I'm not even blaming you for having your comic ruined. Your actions leading up to it seem senseless though.

I wouldn't advise a beautiful, defenseless girl in a skanky dress with tons of jewelry and cash to walk through central park by herself at 1 in the morning. I realize that the horrible things that could happen to her are against the "rules", but her actions would still seem senseless and avoidable to me.

I suspect we're both pretty much done with this exchange, points having been made, and I have work to do. If your reply is particularly caustic, I'll reply when I get back, but otherwise, I'm out.

a) that's bashing, and b) talking about who should and shouldn't get banned is against the rules.

i highly doubt it, tbh.

even though i had the issue spoiled for me on msn of all places, i thought it was all right. what did everyone else think?

Ok, I can understand using spoiler tags and what not, but to perma ban Kris for that? Yeah I don't get it. If anything a temporary ban sure, but not a permenant one. This seems a little much, especially since he's such a long lasting member here and DOES bring a lot to the forum.

He definetly knows not to do it again that's for sure.

Yes I know. You're not a mod here are you?

I liked how Wol got burned up. Anbody else?

Get back on topic, and simply use spoiler tags if you must reference a particularly important segment of a comic.

Mind numbingly simple, really.

i don't see how that applies, and if you knew, then why do it?

It really isn't. Its just common courtesy. But people have to stop filling this thread with complaints about it... This is a discussion thread after all. and those that really don't want their comics spoiled that badly probably shouldn't come in here. For instance, I really don't want to be spoiled at all for Lost especially since its the last season. So I have enough sense to not go inside the Lost thread in the tv forums on KMC cuz i really don't wanna be spoiled.

Wow.

So it's common sense to not expect common courtesy, instead of saying: "No, common courtesy should be expected at all times."?

Even so, you're right, common courtesy to not post spoilers is rare. Hence, it's a rule. Still people ignore it. Thus, bannings.

Why is that hard?

I'll complain any time someone ignores the rules and it causes me the huge inconvenience of having comics I travel to buy, and wait for, ruined.
