Yeah, I usually hate marvel comics, but this was is pretty good.

I'd say so.

If you liked Dark Reign, then yeah.

Does anyone know how much longer this event is supposed to run?

I find that its easier for me to get into an event after it has ended. This way I can read it from start to finish in the intended reading order.

Without a doubt yes.

I dunno having read 2 of the issues I have to say he's going way to fast into this... There needs to be more story in the issues themselves. To me its just action...with little story behind it in the issue itself..I think this event would benefit greatly with either more issues or each issue being double sized or something. It just doesn't feel epic enough... Theres a whole battle goin on but it doesn't really feel like it. Sinestro Corps War did that better than just about any event I've ever read...

Probably 2 more months. The main title is only 4 issues. So its safe to assume that all tie ins will wrap up before or around the same time.

I personally love the fact that Bendis compacted this into four issues. I'm really tired of the de-compressed sort of trend that gave us a Justice League relaunch where Bats, Superman, and Wonder Woman sat around a table for six issues.

Having a lot of stuff happen in one issue is fantastic if it's going to cast anywhere from two to five dollars.

It's worth picking up if you want to know the state of the MU. Otherwise it's purely an over the top holywood blockbuster. Not that it's ever been advertised as anything else, but it's just gonna be 4 issues of punching, kicking, explosions and Osborn falling under the combined might of Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Thor and possibly Bucky and/or Spider-man.

Normally I'd completely agree with you here, mate. However this event is occuring at the same time as Blackest Night, an event that has, in my mind, mantained a sense of drama and excitement throughout whilst retaining the same no. of issues as a normal event.

Blackest Night is slow as hell imo. Even some of the die hard DC fans are getting sick of it. Only into issue 5 do we get anything interesting happens. Otherwise it's just the Rainbow Rangers bickering amongst themselves while zombie Lanterns are on the loose.

great ark so far...
P.S. People should have know Sentry has stoped being the jobber he was quite a time ago

Thor beats Sentry in issue three.

Spoiler:
I hope he does anyway. But you know Sentry has to get beaten this arc, as nobody gets away with ripping a hero in half ever in comics. It's only a matter of time...

Well that's fair enough. I, myself am surprised that I'm preferring BN as I'm a Marvel Zombie at heart, but for me, it's just been so much bigger and more entertaining than Siege.

Siege to me feels a lot like Batman's Battle for the Cowl. It's very predictable blockbuster action that probably could have been handled better with a bit more emotional depth thrown in as it's praised for it's good art and the the fact it's a short story arc.

Spoiler:
That doesn't sound like a sound strategy after ripping a God in half, and helping kill many others. Even if everything is undone about this whole event (terrible copout, and probably beyond his power anyway), then nobody is going to forgive him, let alone trust him. The only other way for this to end, is for Sentry to kill everyone, which won't happen. Sentry will have a tough fight with someone though for sure throughout this event, maybe a whole team, and he will be stopped.

Agreed.
