As it pertains to Kris, not only did they become intentional spoilers for the sake of trolling, but it was in addition to his long record of warnings and temp bans for various transgressions. Occasional or accidental spoilers are entirely different. The intent to troll is not present.

Further, I have no particular liking or dislike for any member, regardless of forum history. Nor does any mod that I know well enough to speak for, including the ones that have dealt with Kris in the past and the mod who banned him permanently this time. Claims of bias need to be removed from the discussion, because they are baseless accusations and pointless to drag out.

Any comments/questions/concerns should be directed to me or one of the other mods via PM. Thank you.

On a less official note: someone mentioned both sides being somewhat right, and I would concur. The venom needs to be removed from the issue, because some common sense on either side will correct 99% of the problem. I'm quickly growing tired of both rampant non-use of spoilers, as well as the complaints I receive from multiple posters about those who probably aren't intentionally posting them (this current incident notwithstanding). We're not going to warn/ban everyone who posts a spoiler in a thread, so there will always be some risk in reading on the forums. Understand this, then participate respectfully.

Even so, you're right, common courtesy to not post spoilers is rare. Hence, it's a rule. Still people ignore it. Thus, bannings.

Why is that hard?

I'll complain any time someone ignores the rules and it causes me the huge inconvenience of having comics I travel to buy, and wait for, ruined.

Turns out I was right. Amazing issue and I honestly don't see why people here had such a massive problem with things that happened in it.

Ares could never have done anything more to Sentry, and the manner in which he died was perfect for showing how far he has gone into becoming a maniac

I don't get why people are complaining that it's too action-orientated; it follows Dark Reign. Dark Reign was all the story set-up.

The thing is, I've never actually said: "I'm better than anyone.". I've never said any variation of that, or that quote itself, with any degree of sincerity. I've been here since July '04 and I have never once made any kind of claim akin to that, yet lots of people think it. So, I'm flattered, but knock it off. It's dry and old. Also, no, "You present yourself that way/come across that way." isn't true, nor is it the same.

No one person can "ruin" the board. If I'm such a ruination, pur me on ignore. Oh, you have. You have me on ignore and yet you're sitting there bitching about me, just like The Nuul and just like WD. Thus, I'm reporting you for that, and for flaming me. Ignore me or don't, you can't have it both ways.

Although with everything not everything is going to be exactly as I pictured it.

I'm honestly hoping the Asgardians show to be more than spider-man level types. Though we haven't really seen just how well or bad the Asgardians are fairing right now. Of course we also don't know if they have employed their magics yet or their magical artifacts. I haven't seen the Destroyer on the battlefield yet. Hence my idea that I would like for them to go god unleashed almost like Bor did.

As for Ares the way he went out was violent, how he lived, climatic in the sense that I really felt for him at that moment, and I can honestly say that I understand not wanting to prolong and waste panels on a fight where everyone already knew the end. Still a part of me really wanted the God of War to go out with more of an oomph against Sentry than the moral victory of barely wounding him. Especially for me cause I really enjoyed the push Ares was getting as a heavy hitter since his Mini so many years back.

Still have enjoyed this work event so far and can't wait to see where it goes.

I agree on the action stuff. This story has been set up through multiple titles for months. Siege is the part where the gloves come off and everything comes full circle. I am loving Norman Osborn and the Sentry at this point along with Thor and his never retreat, never surrender attitude. Love the dark avengers but like most great things I am glad it's going to end soon. Less is always better imo.

I can't remember the last time I looked forward to a story like this.

This is why I push for the rule and it still isn't stuck to. I frequent many other boards and the members are always way more respectful with spoilers. Mind you, most of those other boards contain people who buy their comics, so the concept of wanting to wait isn't entirely foreign to them.
