It's not exactly a stretch.
Quanchi's stance was that Clubber must, by necessity, be superior to any fighter Rocky ever beat, since he beat Rocky. When presented with the context of his win, quanchi responds with, "a win is a win."
I, then, ask if he believes the same holds true for Buster Douglas. Since, according to quanchi, we're not allowed to "make excuses" for athletes, we can't acknowledge the context of Buster's win. He just won, period, and a win is a win. So surely quanchi must believe that Buster Douglas is a) better than Tyson, and b) better than anyone Tyson defeated.
