What is the Time Gun
I don't know what it's really called, but there's this... cannon-like space weapon that can eliminate something (like a planet) from having ever existed. It could literally prevent enemies from being born.

/where do they have time travel in SW?
There are a pair of deity-like super beings that can manipulate time and space. They once sent a group of Stormtroopers 8000 years in the past, and killed Princess Leia by turning her heart in to a diamond. And then resurrecting her.

There's also a Force-enabaled ability that allows the user to travel back in time for a while. And I think there's a time-traveling Sith ship or something from the recent Fate of the Jedi novels.

Q shits on the diamond-heart turning people.

Sure he does.

Sorry for the triple posting, but upon reading farther into the thread I will now that Star Wars loses to Star Trek when taking into account everything in their canon across millions of years. There are still a few points though that need to be hammered out in this thread though such as number of Imperial starships and the MMK mine.

So after two extremely long posts which didn't really contribute anything which hadn't been addressed already then you came to the conclusion that ST wins.

At least you're honest. Unlike the troll that was HWKA.

I'd respond to your other posts but I'd be wasting my time and yours.

Lord of the Rings get wtf pwned unless if Eru is allowed. Seriously; IDK why the OP included them in this.

IDK much about Battlestar Galactica; how powerful are they?

It seems as though this battle has come down to Star Wars vs Star Trek. 😉

Against the Federation, Romulans and other more conventional Star Trek species, Star Wars epically stomps them. Star Trek warp drive would take decades to even cross the Star Wars galaxy and wouldn't have enough fuel for the journey, so they wouldn't even be able to maneuver their fleets or attack Star Wars. Even if they had enough fuel, by the time they get to any of the important Star Wars planets the war would already be over.

The Federation and other civilizations on that level would also lack any defense against a massed hit an run attack on major worlds.

If a HUGE Star Wars fleet went into hyperspace and then got out near Earth, they could surprise and overwhelm the defending Federation fleet. Earth will call for reinforcements, but any significant reinforcements would take weeks to get there. It would only take a few minutes for a fleet of star destroyers to render Earth uninhabitable. Then, they could use hyperspace to get out. By the time a reinforcement fleet comes Earth would be a wasteland.

The borg might win for Star Trek if they can adapt to Star Wars technology, but IDK if the borg can adapt to anything other than phaser based tech.

Species 8472 is an unknown, so I don't think that we should allow them in this thread. Similar thing with the Iconians and such.

Basically, Star Wars wins easily against all non god like and non unknown Star Trek civilizations except for maybe the borg depending on the latter's adaption capabilities. Star Wars also obviously defeats Lord of the Rings since Eru is not involved. IDK about Star Wars vs Battlestar Galactica and how that will turn out.

Has anyone checked out the decent amount of logical Star Wars vs Star Trek sites? www.stardestroyer.net and www.st-v-sw.net are the two main ones that I know of, the former arguing for Star Wars and the latter arguing for Star Trek.

He was an idiot. I say "was" because he's probably dead now.

I'm getting a feeling they're the same person.

The fact he's called KMCmember is a bit suspicious...

I have already reported him.

I couldn't think up of a better username that wasn't already taken. 😉

If you think that I'm a sock, you're wrong. The reason why I'm interested in the Star Wars vs Star Trek debates is because I'm a member in the www.stardestroyer.net forums and am a fan of Star Wars.

Using your logic, I could claim that you and Robtard are the same person because you both support Star Trek.

Hahahahahaaa.

One of my quotes:

The high end weapon yield for a photon torpedo from the Enterprise is 64 megatons if they somehow react with 100% efficiency (which is an impossibility based on modern Science). Since the bast is omnidirectional half of it would be going in the opposite direction of the hull, so the actual upper limit in terms of the damage in which it can do is about 32 megatons.

The lower limit for the durability of the shields of a star destoyer is about 1.4E19 joules (actually, this is a very low end estimate). Converted to tons of tnt it's about 3.34 * 10^15 tons of tnt.

3.34 * 10^15 divided by 3200000 (aka 32 megatons) 1043750000.

Basically, the Enterprise would have to launch 1043750000 photon torpedos to get past the shields of a star destroyer, even when we are using high end estimates for the Enterprise and low end estimates for a star destroyer.

That's likely more photon torpedos than the Federation even has in its arsenal.

PWNED! 😉

Before you go "zomg the TNG isn't canon!" note the 64 megaton yield is actually one of the highest end estimates given; evidence on the TV shows implies a LOWER weapons yield.

He does seem to know his shit.

Yeah that KMC sock is Hewhoknowsall.

He actually seems more intelligent (I know, than ain't saying much considering HWKA), so if it's HWKA he must be copy/pasting his arguments from somewhere/someone else, which wouldn't surprise me.

Or possibly, it's someone from Stardestroyer.net that HWKA went down on to come in here and rehash the same shit yet again.
