If you actually read my post you'd see I said a lot not all. They include characters like Deathstroke, Doomsday, Despero, Estrigen, Fernus, Ravager, and White Martians. The Flash tends to push up heroes and villains alike in DC as he sets the speed standard.

Who routinely loss to street level characters (ie bone clawed Sabertooth). You have to take the low showings as well as the high to really evaluate the character. Yes, thanks to Wolverine's jobber aura he was able to beat the Hulk (in some impossible to explain logically way) but that does not mean that Wolverine can then automatically win against anybody at the Hulk's level.
For example, the Hulk has also beaten the entire Avengers. That does not mean that Wolverine could then repeat that feat.

I cant believe you are sitting here fussing for ares when he sucks. He's a terrible character that has not done ANYTHING to prove that he can hang with wolverine.

I can't believe that you're saying that debating for a character in a given fight should revolve around whether he/she sucks or is a terrible character instead of their given attributes.
ps hanging in a fight against Thor and Hercules (ie being comparable to them in physical characteristics) proves to me that a character can more than hang with Wolverine. Unless you believe that Wolverine > Thor and Herc.
