I guess because the writer wanted the story to play out that way.
Originally posted by ZeuodinHow so? No writer has ever had ds erase anyone via handblasts to my knowledge. If you have any evidence I am more than willing to see it.
It's called CIS. The writer simply didn't know or forgot and didn't do his homework. Or PIS.

I guess so.
Better than the notion of Darkseid not possessing the Omega Force and having super rare magical battery powered eyeballs which are the source of the blasts from his eyes.
Originally posted by SpireI see. Hey you are welcome to your own opinion. Mine goes along with continuity and is more logical as he has never erased anyone via his eyes. My scan also backs up my stance word for word.

Which comes back to the original point.
Omega Force. Eyes. Hands. Omega Force.
Going by your less logical POV some/all of the following :
Darkseid's eyeballs, which he received during a trip down in Mexico contain Omega Force.
Darkseid doesn't possess/contain the Omega Force.
Darkseid can't use handblasts as he has no Omega Force.
If somehow his hands did glow, its because he is using the Jolly Force which is completely different from Omega Force.
Originally posted by SpireHe can shoot energy blasts from his hands but never in a comic has it ever erased someone. Looks like the an showing and your own proves my point. Whether they call the blast omega beams/blasts/forces all with standing. Was it the same writer who wrote the legend crossover and the an showing?

Shoots blasts of 'what'? Where does this 'what' come from?
No, not the same writer.
Originally posted by quanchi112the reason he never erases some from his hands is because he usually uses the finder beams and then does that. if there are no finder beams out of his eyes, then there is no omega effect of erasing either. Finder beams don't miss.

Originally posted by SpireLike most writers they call the blasts omega something but that doesn't mean with my showing we can say his hands can erase someone otherwise Ds would have still pressed Superman. Pretty cut and dry.

Originally posted by quanchi112The whole point is, the hand blasts from DS hands can down Highfather, who has shown more power than Superman, Orion, who has shown to be as tuff as Superman, and others. So why would DS not just use his telepathy on superman and find him that way and then fire hand blast and pwn Superman? The story was PIS ad CIS. Riddled with it.

Cool, we'll go with Omega Force.
Now, for the second question which you sidestepped or forgot about:
Where does this 'what' come from? What is it's source? What fuels it? What is it an extension of?

Originally posted by ZeuodinThor has shown more power than Izaya. We can play this game all you want. His hand blasts took him down but didn't disintegrate him. That's the whole point.

No, it wasn't. That's just your opinion and I find that people who continually cite cis/pis are showing off their bias and disregard what they don't like.
Originally posted by SpireI repeat an was very clear in the fact Ds needed his eyes to fire his ultimate blast to kill Superman and without it he submitted. All you have proven is how inconsistent the terminology in regards to Ds's powers dc has been. I never disagreed with that.

Originally posted by Omega VisionApokolips now explained it. My theory is backed up by continuity and an actual showing. Yours isn't.
Look if you're going down that route whenever DS uses the OE/OF/OB 9 times out of 10 its in the form of eyebeams and yet also 9/10 times he uses his eyebeams he doesn't erase things, he blasts them. He can and has done the exact same thing with eyebeams as handblasts and since you have yet to explain why we should logically conclude that hand blasts aren't capable of the same things as eye beams even though they have the SAME NAME AND SOURCE I'll continue to call AN a pile of CIS/PIS and shit writing.
If you don't understand my reasoning let me put it this way: say Superman realizes he can fire heat vision from his finger tips. He still calls it a Heat Blast and it looks the same as heat vision but just because we don't see him melting things are we to assume it can't even though its the same heat vision from a different body part?
