USH'S STAR WARS GAME- DARK SIDE INTERLUDE- 'Day of Choice'

Started by REXXXX45 pages

Galder shouts the order for the Runners to be brutally murdered when they reach the edge of the crater.

He then smashes the axe into another Loner, harder than necessary because he intends to break the damn thing over the Epirean's skull, tapping Overhead Blow.

Swap Overhead Blow with Forward Guard.

Azarl switches Presence 'on' so that he gets the full effect when he shouts at Firak.

"We need to talk!" he yells. "I want to know where you got this heating unit!"

Rand also shouts for the Runners to be executed, then runs a Loner through in one fluid thrust.

"I bought it," says Firak. "At the market at Ogden."

"It was on the market? What else was there to buy at the market?"

What does Azarl know about Ogden?

It's the closest major settlement to the forests that surround the mountains.

"All thinga can be traded at market. It is just down to personal arrangements."

"That technology was given to one of the Epirean tribes of the plains," Azarl says. "How did it get on the market? And how did you pay for it? Is it the only thing you've gotten?"

Azarl does not want to overwhelm Firak but his senses tell him that something is amiss with this.

He shrugs.

"They trade... we trade... it is how it is."

Xavier will let the loner that hit him die. He will then attack any remaining wimps.

Dak too shouts for the Runners to be killed.

Another Whirling Attack, this one on a Loner.

The runners are being killed and...

Wait! One of them has vaulted over the guards surrounding the area, and is making a break for the forest! Cheeky! Though... cleary fit...

Dak- Loner kill time! You spot a big bastard with a necklace of Epirean teeth, go for him and... slightly to your surprise, he taps Sidestep and dodges your attack. With a 'raaaaar!" he smashes back at you with his own axe for seven damage, though yuo can SS tap that out yourself if you want.

Everyone else pretty much gets their targets

... oh! You've hit the quota! Well, feel free to kill anyone else you like, but there's no scoring.

Bonus Objective 'Show Some Guts' (engaging the fighters)- FAILED! No xp bonus...

And as a role-playing result of this, the leader in the middle is taunting.

"You do not have the courage to face TRUE opponents!" he cries.

Well we had that coming.

Shouldn't I have 10 points though?

Galder is satisfied to have tied with Dak. But he addresses the Epirean that has organized the center resistance.

"I think you forget the aim of these games!" Galder says. "Those who survive until the end become part of our guard... and you're obviously not THAT worthless if you got this circle thing going. What's your name?"

Dak will go ahead and SS tap the attack, and strike the cheeky Epirean in the face with the butt of his axe, not to kill, but to show the promising individual who is boss. "A decent counter. We'll see how you fare in the rest of the games."

Dak is satisfied to tie as well. If possible, send Epireans after the fit runner before he makes it to the forest! Or if Dak can Dash and make an Agility roll to make the capture himself...

Yes indeed, your score is 10 Con.

A Dash would make it an automatic success, if you want to blow a force point on it. But you are not in a good position, Dak; the runner was on the east side.

Con- the last wimp in yuor area is making 'mmf! mmf!" noises at you.

Rianna- you have the idea that something is not quite right with the pile of bodies in front of you.

-

"I am Trogan of Kos!" he declares, loudly.

Blow a Force point, sure. Dak blurs into motion, leaping over the pointless guards to apprehend the Runner, lashing his tail to whip his quarry's legs out from under him.

"So you traded the quality axes that we gave your tribe," Azarl says. "Those were meant for your tribe alone, Firak! You have shown your support for us, but not all have."

Sorry, Dak, I was not clear there. For others a force point would do it, but your bad position makes it less practical.

-

"Oh, worry not about the other tribes!" says Firak. "They are weak! Those that dwell in the cities are soft, and I am the strongest of the nomad tribes!"

"Trogan," Galder says. "Do you want to live?"

Galder also asks for the Epirean that smashed at Dak to be brought to him.
