What's the equivalent in Ush's rule I must have overlooked it

Oh, yeah, I totally overlooked those.

It'd be the biggest size, a small freighter.

Also, Galder's Paladin uses the generic heavy fighter template.

Well, the lead elements are nearly around the base now and...

... wait, you guys must have lost track of something. The situation at the checkpoint isn't what you thought.

Gorag and Torvus have cheated! Galder is going to race on ahead, then, trying to catch up with them.

Xavier has now moved sideways across themountain into the middle of the fourth section.

And it is that section that is beginning now! This bit is NOT designed to be traversed; it has no pathway and is full of chasms, pot holes, rock hazards and the like. Running downhill not recommended!

Galder will keep running since I don't think he has quite reached the fourth leg yet.

The danger meansd the Epireans are going more slowly- they have an additional penalty.

Not loincloth though- he seems bloody agile, and heeds not the dangers.

Trogan has stopped...

"What the hell are you doing?" Galder shouts at Trogan.

"I am not going to abandon my fellows to die!" he declares.

"Then you will die with them!" Galder shouts. "If they are unable to keep up with the Epireans who prove to be strongest, then such is their fate!"

"What is strength?" he calls. "The strongest beast in the forest can be brought down by the organised group of hunters. Which is stronger, the beast or the group?"

(Osokan mentality?)

"Depends on the beast," Galder snarls. "Look, you need to be in the top ten, Trogan. You have leadership capacity. We're going to need that in this bunch. You'll have a new group, a stronger one. Don't make me regret backing you."

"No," he says. "Kill me if you will; that is forever in your power. But I will help my comrades."

"And how are you going to do that? If you've actually got something in mind, let me know. I'm here for a reason."

"I will urge them on," he says. "But what I will not do is abandon them."

"Okay, that's useless," Galder says. "Come on, Trogan! You're bright for one of your kind, make use of it. Cheat or something. Have your comrades trash the other racers."

Does Galder know of any easier paths in this part of the mountain?

"But you do not want my group," he says. "You just want your individual beasts."

Galder face-palms into his right hand, the real one.

"Look, I've got something to gain here. Loyalty. You don't get our politics yet, but if I get you AND your friends onto the finish line, then I get a bunch of Epireans that listen to ME. I've reconsidered, let's hope I don't reconsider again, for your sake. Make sense?"

Galder thinks back to Kuylen's requirement for absolute obedience to his authority briefly, reflecting it on the situation at hand. He also thinks of how awesome it would be to have most of the Epirean winners listen to him directly...
