Sip. Was pretty neat watching Laxus go to town on Raven Tail in animated format.

I just picked up a FT art book at an anime convention.

A lot of the two-page group spreads, some other work, and it's really recent, it even has the Grand Magic Tournament teams.

Laxus did not struggle compared to Wendy fight. I can't wait for them to be friends and there need some explanation for Wind God Slayer triggering Zeref aura (I'm caught up w/ the manga too).

Wow, I did not expect Ogra to take out Jura.

Just messing with you ^^ It seems to me he's an 'artillery' piece, so to speak. Very powerful attack, but he's no wizard saint.

Jura ranked up from 10th to 5th. *And* we found out about 4 other wizard saints. Hm, I guess Makarov got replaced on the saints while he was missing, too. And Jura and Laxus's exchange was great.

Also, does this put Laxus on terms with Jura? Is Laxus indeed stronger than any other human? I would tend to think no...but he could have powered up since the FairyTail Island Arc.

So using the information we have this chapter on top of power-scaling. This must mean that Gildartz is the friggin Living Tribunal of the Fairy Tail verse 😄

But in all seriousness Jura is pretty awesome. So awesome in fact that I'm suprised he is still with Lamina Scale.

Awesome! For a moment there I thought my boy Laxus joined Ogra in the KTFO department, but I should've known better. Kickass issue. Wonder how Jura measures up to Makarov now.

Too soon to tell, really. I don't think he needs to have powered up to do this.

I'm picturing how an Ogra/Laxus fight would've gone, now.

Giving Ogra the opening shot somewhat generously, blasts Laxus, takes some damage and tanks it. Laxus blasts back, Ogra takes some damage and tanks it due to his lightning resistance, or possibly eats it. Ogra attacks again, Laxus zaps out of the way, gets to hand to hand, and KTFOs him.

Again, being generous to Ogra and letting him get his shot in ^^ Another way it could go is 'Ogra blasts, Laxus dodges, and knocks him out.' I do get the impression that Ogra's offensive blast is still really powerful.

Well it would've made more sense for him to have become the next Guild Master if that were the case. I mean the gap between Jura and the rest of Lamina Scale is abysmal at best 😐.

At least that's how I see it unless of course the old lady turns out to be a Gildarts type.

Or perhaps Jura wants nothing to do with being master and/or respects the old broad enough not to take over her position.

Only because he's so uber. Lyon's one of the strongest competitors around (stronger than Sabertooth's bunch sans Minerva), and Chelia and Yuka are no slouches either.

They normally get second place each year without Jura involved, after all.

She's the old master! She's probably reasonably strong but, more than that, she's almost certainly very respected and has been Jura's leader since before he was uber.
