Ah, so instead of trying to fight strait-up, she was focusing on jacking the Elfman control.

And Elfman is *really* strong. Not as fast or as good at fighting, but raw muscle he's up there.

How are people feeling about the new anime episodes? They're up to 179 I believe. So 4 episodes in since the hiatus.

The anime is approaching the part that made me consider dropping this manga.

So I'm not going to stay tuned for any time soon

Well there goes Lucy's streak of not getting beat up. I think she set a record with this chapter. Regardless she was pretty darn impressive this chapter.

Anyway there was less boob-squishing and more ass-kicking and build-up. Also Hiro's attempts at trying to establish tension at this point in the series is laughable.

It was good chapter for FT standards. Lucy new found powers should be permanent. She needs some sort of defensive shielding to stand on equal grounds with her friends. I hope its only restricted to shielding, like Gaara sand from Naruto. Otherwise Juvia will cry rivers!

Waiting to see how the Spirit King will be captured and if the king of Hades is this strong, just imagine END or Zeref.

Yea, I bet it's defensive only, but serious power-up there. I do believe she just beat a foe that gave Natsu trouble.

So, Lucy/Spirit King saved everyone, and now the battle's on 🙂

I find it funny/kinda like how Silver being Gray's father isn't confirmed in-universe, but the chapter title just admits the blatantly obvious ^^

honestly, I just don't think Minerva deserves a sympathetic backstory, but that's just me being hateful of her due to her previous actions.

if those two pull a fusion, I'll laugh my ass off until they get their asses kicked.
