But yeah just read the Phantom Guild arc. It was very good. I'm digging this setting a lot.

Edit: Also is Sabo's whole theme of fire plus dragon moves a shout out to Natsu? Kinda feels like it at the moment.

I've read all the way up to the good guild alliance(introduction of this Wendy lady) and have been enjoying myself. I think the pacing of the series needs to slow the hell down though.

I think the fast pace is what originally got me hooked(besides Boobs and Erza's badassery--before i hated her)

I hate long arcs. I'm going to get back into this manga. I think I have like a good 60 issues worth of reading ugh. I think I stopped around the time

Personally fast-pace is something I really like about it. Things do get a bit slower, but never One Piece slow.

Oh fast pace is fun and I rather enjoyed it for a long time. Even now, having just finished Erza's fight with Midnight, I don't dislike it. But some slowness helps a lot. Not asking for One Piece slow but some Naruto slow(which is not really slow, just calm) would be nice.

Damn Mashima is really letting himself go with the hentainess.

Not that I'm complaining but sometimes I wonder if I'm reading the right manga.

Read HSDK. Can't be that bad. Probably not as hawt(since HSDK has stupidly hawt ladies).

But when you get to single-chapters the fast pace especially helps ^^

I like how I'm in the middle of the tournament and yet all I can think about is how cool Mavis is. I rather like that name too.

Yea, Mavis is fairly awesome 🙂

Tournament arc was eh. Much better than people had me believing but I can see the faults with it.

Mavis might be my favorite character. She's so cool.

Reads better all at once, I'd say.

She must've been a beast back in the day.

IMO? It doesn't compare to the mange because Mashima's art is way better and the beginning sucks balls because it was very low budget. Having said that the OST is awesome and it can get the hype going Big, Big time.

And the budget does improve as time goes on, I believe.
