Batman: Arkham City

Nah, I don't find the game harder.

The only part I find a bit more difficult is when you have to save Riddler's henchman in a group of like 10 or more thugs.

Just beat it and god damn is the ending epic! Now bring on Metropolis!

Is it just me or is this game far harder than the original?

Probably. Mostly because it's offered different kinds of challenges that the first game never did, and is much more open.

Yeah, I was shown those in the gallery after uploading her with the online pass thing.

The

is now easily my favorite part so far.

Yeah. afaik they're only for the challenge maps, but she has two: one based on the tas' grey, and another of her old ones, a purple one with some ****ed up ears.

So where do we go from here? Planet Arkham?

It's hard to put into words how great this game is. I thought Arkham Asylum was the best game I ever played. This obliterates it in what all you can do. The mass and scope of the game is greater. Penguin is awesome! Just as good here as Joker IMO.

How many hours have you played? God damn you must have rushed through. I'm positive I've played atleast 15 hours and it says I've only completed 57% of the main story. 25% of the game completely, side missions, riddles, challenges and all.

I've been thinking about that too. I'd say go with the Hush storyline and set the open world in Gotham City prior to the events of Arkham Asylum. Incorporate Metropolis and Superman into the story as they are in the arc. It'd be cool if they added Robin and Nightwing as playable characters within the main story like Catwoman is here. Add the ability to pilot vehicles, aircraft, and his boats. Also add full access to the Batcave.

Arkham City makes Arkham Asylum look amateur, it's so good.

Completed the main story last night. Was absolutely stunning.

Funnily enough, there's a trophy/achievement for throwing a remote control batarang at him which he catches. He's one of those interesting little side quests too, whom you have to track down four different places, and then those places on the map mark the last destination he's at that you have to go to. He tells Batman a prophecy of sorts after that and vanishes.

Anyhow, man.. The ending of this game was spectacular. Might've not had much expectations from it at first admittedly because of how Asylum's ending turned out,

Spoiler:
though I think it perhaps would've been an even cooler twist if Talia had killed the real Joker before Clayface showed himself, lol. Ra's went crazy himself too.

I just hope that the last boss fight is better than Asylum's lame ass fight.

Oh, it is by a landslide, and then some.

Protocol 10 is insane. Never saw it coming.

I'm at the part after you see Strange on the big screen, where there's the invisible predator room with all the Tyger guards. This is going to be difficult.

Another interesting note with this game. When I finished Arkham Asylum's story mode I had no real urge to replay it through. With this game, I'm probably 80-85% through the main story and I already can't wait to start it over. But I still have to complete all the side missions. The only ones which I've had any success on or devoted attention to are the Bane tasks(5/6; but this co-insides heavily with the main story) and the Victor Zsasz phone calls(I'm about 75% to fully tracing the call completely).

Best game ever made.

I've collected one of Zsasz's calls. Is it a hide and seek thing?

Kinda. After you answer another one of Zsasz's calls, you have to immediately pick up another phone a certain distance away before time runs out (if it runs out, he kills a hostage and you have to restart). There are plenty of times you'll have to do that before Batman learns the location of Zsasz's calls from his hideout, and then you track him down and beat him. A much more interesting challenge than he was in Arkham Asylum, at least, and you learn him insight from the character itself during the calls, making him seem creepier and stuff than before.

You trace the call once the phone is answered. Of course, when I'm already occupied or more concerned with the story itself, I just opt not to answer.

Gawd damn. Just picked it up this morning and I'm still flipping out over how good it is.

GotY easily, unless Uncharted 3 really ends up being better than 2.

I saw them when I went to Gamestop, but ended up being too expensive for my liking after all, so I just got the guide book for the game instead since there was $5 discount for buying them together. Have only used it for finding some of the Riddler stuff so far though.
