Batman: Arkham City

Oh my, hardcover limited edition guide so bought for this game. It's so pretteh, and a game this freakin' huge deserves one.

Funnily enough, there's a trophy/achievement for throwing a remote control batarang at him which he catches. He's one of those interesting little side quests too, whom you have to track down four different places, and then those places on the map mark the last destination he's at that you have to go to. He tells Batman a prophecy of sorts after that and vanishes.

Anyhow, man.. The ending of this game was spectacular. Might've not had much expectations from it at first admittedly because of how Asylum's ending turned out,

Spoiler:
though I think it perhaps would've been an even cooler twist if Talia had killed the real Joker before Clayface showed himself, lol. Ra's went crazy himself too.

You get a trophy/achievement for throwing a remote control batarang at

Spoiler:
Hush or Azreal?
Sorry, mixed up in this thread from trying to keep the ending unspoiled.

Indeed. Even with the guide though, getting all the Riddler stuff (whether they're marked on the map or not) can be overwhelming with how much ground there is to cover. Last night I mostly went and got everything in the Park Row portion of the city (getting the trophies as Bats and Catwoman, solving the riddles, destroying the security cameras, etc.) and I already became burned out enough at the time..

are there any hint maps for the trophies like the ones in AA? Those helped me.

The maps come in the form of random thugs that are highlighted in green all around the game, who give you locations of the Riddler stuff on the map after you get the option to interrogate them, but you have to save them for last and knock out all the regular thugs around him first. Some of the green guys you have to interrogate will have guns too, so watch out for that.

Yeah? I have a feeling the same is gonna happen to me, but I'm a fan of having too much to do in games.

Oh, awesome. Can't wait to encounter him again.

I've had a look at the PC version with the PhsyX enhancements, Alot more details on some things

I feel I would fight/focus better without those silly little extra effects, so eh...

Yeah, I found this out just before reading your post. I finally decided to go to the Church.

There's a lot to do in this game.

I agree. Still, looks good with those effects.

Eh, I guess, and figures you would happen to find that out before seeing my helpful post. 😛

Anyhow, just rescued the 5th Riddler hostage last night, then realized I had to do the rest of the Riddler challenges before I could save yet another hostage (thought 5th was the final one) and capture Nigma himself. FUUUUU

Ah, so you only have to do 400 of the Riddler's challenges to find his last hideout, not all 440 (I have 420 done now at the moment). Gotta say, what happens to him when he gets captured makes every moment I spent getting the Riddler challenges I did out of the way (even the torturous, tedious ones) worth it. xD

So, have you guys picked up the Batman Beyond skin in the US when you buy a can of NOS?

Can of NOS? wut? But no, haven't attained that skin yet, though it's gonna be the first one I use when given the chance.

NOS the energy drink. Tastes kinda meh, but they have this yellow label for their rewards program that you can redeem for the BB skin.

I just now found the first Riddler hostage.

HO-LEE SHIT!

This is going to be an awesome riddle search!

This should keep me occupied for a good while.

I've checked multiple gas stations around my area and the NOS cans say nothing about Arkham City. 😬 Help?

And I thought Arkham Asylum was sick after completing the main story. There is SO much to do in this game after the main story is completed.

Happy to help out, the cans/bottles don't directly say Arkham City on them. The skin is just part of the rewards program. Here's a link that shows what the can and bottle look like. They have to have the yellow ring around them:

http://www.drinknos.com/rewards.do?itemId=15766

Here's their available catalog, you can see the Batman skin listed there, it's only 1 point:

After you redeem it, you'll get the code, think you have to be a member of the site. A friend redeems them quite often, so I got it from him, so I'm not entirely sure if you get the code e-mailed to you or what. I think one can/bottle should be enough for it, and it does work, I'm using it right now. Great way to get the Batman Beyond skin early.

It could be silly to buy a can of energy drink I have no intention of actually drinking just for a Batman skin... but still.

Haha, I know. I've had them before, and I'm not a fan, though luckily my co-workers drink about a dozen every two weeks. Even luckier, they don't play Arkham City, if I get any more unused codes, I'll post them here for you guys to use. Can't promise that I'll post some for sure, because they redeem them for other lame NOS stuff.

Yeah Scythe, if you could PM me a code that'd rock. I bought one of these foul things, entered the code, it told me to register, I registered, and now it says I have zero points and the code has already been redeemed, so I'm kind of annoyed and not really willing to give them any more of my money.

EDIT: Scratch that, either the page was glitched or yelling at them on Facebook worked.

Just finished the New Game Plus mode. The Freeze boss fight was the hardest part of it, unsurprisingly, since he had a bit more health than the first playthrough, and thus you had to do two or three more things to him as far as damaging the suit... But perhaps worse, was that his suit would automatically jam your detective mode if you used it for a prolonged amount of time, so I hardly used it during the fight and relied mostly on instinct as to his whereabouts when waiting to attack him.

And a PM to me would be appreciated as well Scythe, if that's possible. If not, that's fine too.
