Of course I have lost a one that loved me, BF! But frankly, one should not put too much emphasis on the things you did for someone whilst in a relationship. It gives you no call over them, and gives them no responsiblity towards you. They were good things you did, and that is reward in itself and all the reward you will get and they must not chain your ex. Life- even loving relationships- does not work on a basis of gratitude and debt.
