This should have gone:
"Doom does not want to. And thus it is truth."
Tho I DO acknowledge the possibility that Doom is simply speaking THROUGH you at this moment.

I don't think any of these powers would result in you being worshiped like a god, a much more likely scenario is that you would be deemed a threat. No government is going to leave someone who could potentially put the world in a headlock and upturn the power structure over night, alone to party and get rich off their abilities... or aid their enemies. If you went public and could prove the existence of anyone of these abilities, someone - likely many someones all over the world - would decide you were too dangerous to live.

Not really, you basically ask the computer to find the sites and once you found them, you ask that computer for the information you want.
Depending on your level of telepathy, you could just ask a given group of people "will the Real Pedophile, please stand up?"
It's not that technopathy can't be put to use of course, but there is no faster way to affect people than to literally make them do something. I'm not sure why this is being disputed, honestly.

Morality plays a big role, tho.I'd never want TP. Too much power with too little limitations.
It'd be like being able to play a nice video game but (sadly) being able to hack it. It'd take away all the fun from it.
That's understandable if you don't trust yourself.
That's cool. I don't have a problem with your choice. You already understood my point anyway.

I admit having serious issues with morality so my disbelief in altruism and non-privacy at the same time may be based on that. YET, disrespecting privacy to make altruistic things seems like gray moral-wise at best.

Finding the sites shouldn't be any harder than finding a specific mind would be for a telepath and finding the info from their systems shouldn't be any harder than scanning a mind would be for a telepath.

And I think you're underestimating the degree to which people put personal information onto their computers.Besides, if that didn't work, I could scan all the computers for child porn(just like the telepath would scan all the minds to find the pedophiles).
Not to mention governments and databases.

Which is faster?

I said finding the site would be easy. Getting the information seems like a different story though. The site doesn't necessarily know its owner's name is John Doe. He doesn't necessarily have to have that information online. The "customers" may prove even more time consuming to find.
The owner had to upload the pictures which means there is a trail that can be followed.
The difference is....you'd only come up with child porn on your computer. The telepath would immediately find the pedophile.Which is faster?
No, I'd find the computers that had the porn, just like the telepath would find the mind.

Don't judge him.
