Right, having everyone in the country knowing they produce child porn won't matter to them.If you're going to be this dense, I'm done responding.
I still don't get your fixation on using technopathy to find child porn.

The owner had to upload the pictures which means there is a trail that can be followed. No, I'd find the computers that had the porn, just like the telepath would find the mind.
Yes, you might find a computer used to upload the porn. Now you need names which may not be on that computer. That computer may have been sold to someone else. That computer may have been thrown away. That computer may be used unbeknownst to an innocent person. That computer may have no immediately indentifying items on it.
The telepath found the person's mind. That's it. That's all that's needed. No guesswork or investigating.

And the techopath could provide the information to the police and newspapers.
Anyone read Rising Stars?
If you wanted to do good in the world, you could use TK like Laurel Darkhaven [at the end of the series, not the assasin part]. Bio:
"She was a telekinetic government assassin with the ability to telekinetically manipulate small objects. She was employed as an assassin because, as noted in the comic book, "The carotid artery is a small object". At John Simon's urging, she later expended her powers moving the arable soil across the entire Middle East from beneath the sand to the surface, but the strain on her results in her death."
And I'm assuming our TK would be greater than her's, thus not killing us due to the strain.
Originally posted by Blair Windthat was a good series and more believable of what would happen to ppl with real powers.

I love how in the superpowered TV shows, telekinesis is often shown as the end all be all superpower (besides Heroes' time control)Primary example is Sylar basically beating the shit out of everyone using, mainly, TK.
if your tk is uber, you basically can't be phucked with.

how does technopathy give you the ability to invent superpowers? it is the ability to communicate with technology, not Forge's "I-can-invent-anything" power, imho
at the very least, in our universe, you would be subject to the laws of science. You could control the peak of modern tech, and maybe, if you, yourself, understood the engineering behind it, improve it in ways.
also, in the Marvel U, any technopath that isn't absorbing the Bastion/Nimrod/Technarch AI from the X men series is retarded. Yes, you apoc
