And as for the other argument added later, that Supes simply needs to tag him faster than Loki can say his spells in his head...he casts his spells at the speed of thought. You want to guess on how fast gods can think? Especially one of the most intelligent gods out there? Be my guest.

Also, we're not talking about some meta-level magician in Loki. Even Loki's astral form (because his physical form was bound by Odin and still in Asgard) was able to easily overpower Classic Doctor Strange:

not faster than kal can blitz him and you've certainly no proof to say ortherwise. how about showcasing his thinking speeds? thor's a god too--can we assume he has uber thinking speed as well? and how fast are you talking?

See I kind of disagree with that. I think he is pretty consistently around their level. And the Wrecker Loki fight (what was that, somewhere around Thor 441?) was pretty close, physically speaking. Loki can also amp his physical attributes.

nah. thor has broken his arm to teach him a lesson and a po'd thor had loki scared outta his wits, throwing up shield after shield trying to keep thor off him. loki's a fairly skilled combatant, but no-holds-barred thor OR kal, are well out of his league h2h, imo.

Your question was kind of my point. What's the speed of thought in comics? Nobody really knows. And Kal isn't blitzing Loki FTL while on Earth or New Krypton or wherever they'd be fighting. I certainly think Loki's processing power would be up to the challenge.

i'll disagree for the most part. without SOLID proof, hard to credit it, though again, i'm not saying it's impossible. just very unlikely.
