Tidus Vs. Vaan

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I was talking about Terra(Tina...whatever) from VI. And I was just poking fun at how she looks really girly in some of her artwork; not a bad thing in the least just kind of funny.

Wonder why everyone is getting mad at a game with a female version of Cloud. I'm even more curious as to why Square-Enix won't go the full 9-yards if they want to use a real-time battle system. Star Ocean and the Tales series do pretty well with it.

Funny how Vaan and Vanye come off as parralels of one another a bit.
Vayne: unintimidating villian
Vaan: unnecessary hero(in XII anyway)

No kidding. They've taken quite a turn from the past games. I would say rent it if you really want to play it. Don't straight up buy it.

Yeah. Do you think that the several change of the Final Fantasy games is due since Hironobu Sakaguchi left Square? I think that's one of the most (if not the most) important reasons.

Wakka jumps in the match and knocks Tidus out, then proceeds to rent a hotel room for him and Vaan. droolio

Ok if this isn't clear, I'm saying Vaan's prolly one of the hottest female looking males eva.

doh dude 😬

It's doh

thank you 😄

so in conclusion, tidus handsprings vaan to death..

So in conclusion, Vaan's skills with Anastasia >>>>>> Tidus.

I believe Tidus wins cutscene/full motion video-wise.

I thought it said "Square" as in Square Enix in your sig. 😛

But not experience/sword skill-wise, lol.

I didn't know he did. That's probably a pretty good reason. Things change every time someone new comes in, most of the time anyway. And it is seldom for the better.

Seriously? You didn't know? Hironobu Sakaguchi left Square some years ago... Now he has got his own production and has founded 'Mistwalker'. Square has no choice but to unite with Enix. I think that Enix is other of the reasons... Final Fantasy isn't the same anymore, sadly.

Yeah, that's right. I knew Square united with Enix, obviously, but I didn't know that was why.

No, FF isn't the same, and it never will be again.

Well, it wasn't because Hironobu Sakaguchi left Square, I think it was because they had a monetary breaking after losing a lot with the movie: 'The Spirits Within'. Then they and to unite with Enix to save the company.

Even if Final Fantasy has changed and every hardcore fan of the series bashes XIII, the series will still go on. As long as there's an image of Sephiroth and Cloud fighting combined with some pretty scenery, people will buy it all up while Square-Enix waits to take everyone's money.

That's how Final Fantasy is now I guess.

I must agree with you, Wakka. I think basically the same. Even the one who always made the Music for the games (Nobuo Uematsu) left, so there's nothing, the heart of Final Fantasy has died.

Well I just beat FFXII.

The best feats for Vaan are gameplay but not battle mechanics. I'm talking about how you can destroy things in certain areas. Vaan is capable of casually slicing through a tree that looks thicker than he is with a sword.

When does he do that? And that's more an indicator of the swords strength than it is Vaan's.

on the Giza Plains during The Rains you can cut down trees to get to a new area.

And you can use any weapon; swrods, hammers, daggers even. It's obviously meant to show Vaan or any of the other party members can destroy shit pretty easily.

I don't know if I would draw that conclusion. I think that's more of a way to block off areas in an interesting way rather than putting up invisible walls that open up later or something. And anyway, I think it speaks more about the weapon than the one who wields it.

Vaan punches through a stone-head after one of his clan hunts to gain a treasure if that counts for anything. I don't know why Vaan can't just throw one of the nethicite shards at Tidus and hope it goes nuclear.

Weren't those trees in Giza already withered? That could have contributed to the weapons destroying them also.
