He didn't want to ko him. He wanted to dominate him and then trick him. Odin wanted to kill Thanos yet he didn't even ko him. Thanos accomplished his objective odin did not.

Thanos still didn't defeat mar-vell.

It was far from a stalemate. Thanos clearly dominated Mar-vell and if he had continued it was obvious Thanos would of killed him.

Despite the fact that Thanos was dominating Mar-vell in combat, his goal wasn't to defeat Mar-vell in combat. His goal was to introduce death into the canerverse. This is the reason why Thanos didn't pop marvell's head like a grape when he had the chance. He wouldn't be able to complete his objective had he killed him.

You obviously don't know what domination is.

Hey aren't you the guy that didn't believe Thanos was weakened in TI despite the fact that it was stated on panel multiple times?

Thanos didn't want to defeat him whereas odin wanted to kill Thanos. Thanos dominated mar-vell whereas Odin failed to ko Thanos or dominate him.

Guess who made it out of the cancerverse?

I never said I didn't believe it, only that it sounded 'convinient'. Make of that what you will.

In any case this doesn't change how hypocritical Quan is being.

If you quesitoned whether Thanos was weakened, it makes me wonder if you even read the issues in TI? 🙄

He was recovering still even up to issue 5 but it was never mentioned at all that he recovered fully when he fought Mar-vell.

It was mention that Thanos recover TOO much of his strength around the Drax fight so he couldn't be controled. Now if he was 70%-or 90% it was not clear but it is just throwing numbers out like 100% galactus blah vlah blah.

By the end of the series it was clear that Thanos gain must of his pwoer back just not all. Plus the cancerverse didn't weaken him in terms of power he stated his mind was effect not his nody if i recall right

The instance you talked about was when Mantis states Thanos regained too much power to restrain via mindlock. It says nothing about him being close to full power if you read the context of the scan. It just shows that he regained too much power for Mantis, Cosmo and Moondragon to mindlock, thats about it.

Later in Issue 5 they still mention him steadily recovering his power again, more evidence he wasn't near full power when Mantis made the mindlock statement.

It's true that entering the Cancerverse mainly weakened him mentally, but you don't think that would impact his battle capabilities at all? I'm certain it would, just like it'd negatively impact anybody's ability if their mental composure was weakened to the point of inability to stand.
