For example, the average antique suit of plate armour is made for a man of 6'2", implying that the men who wore this stuff were on average, that tall. Some taller, some shorter.
Link stands taller than the soldiers in his own game, which is set in a period similar to this. Ganondorf actively towers over them.

More like people chosen to wear those were huge people for the purpose of war. Its known that we're taller then then those in the past, 5/10cm taller on average.Actually, they were larger than us because of their high protien diet.
We're taller than the average mal-nourished peasant, yes. But knights, and nobles, and landholders who wore such armour, were infact larger on average than we are.
They were not chosen for war based on their size, they were chosen based on their responsibilities to their lords.
Team two would lose the second and third battle. The second because it render the Lich King completely useless, the third because the Lich King will stand by and watch his team die, only to he himself die because of hybris shortly after.
The first can be won if they get rid of Dante first. He pose the greatest threat, as he is fast and strong enough to take out at least Kain and Bayonetta within the first few moments. Not sure who War is, and the Lich King can not take care of Dante. Much too fast.

Can you unequip those iron boots? it seems strange for Link to be slowed yet in a cutscene he is running, thing is using the game engine its hard to tell canon.

For him but not them. Your own wiki artcicle claims only vampires have them therefore she cannot have a dark gift according to that because she is a hylden. Fact is both Kain and Raziel (whom Kain is holding in his hand as a sword) have stolen both soul/blood based powers that enhance them physically or magically OR allow them to replicate powers of those they have stolen without requiring their requirements e.g. DT or in their world, magic.
Hard to say how quick he was, the magic of his forces may have held the area almost frozen while he did those moves, assuming he was moving fast its still hard to judge speed, he was also in DT, he did not physically change but the lightning around him looks like the DT effect for Alastor. Looks like a one off though because the lightning powering him through the roof does not usually happen.
I was being sarcastic, I was saying that how strong someone is, is irrelevant unless they have some major soul resistance. The only real canon on this sword is that it eats souls on strike, the logic behind the sword also supports this as does how Kain kills the Sarafan lord in one hit in Bo2 with the sword, although it "may" be assumed that perhaps he did strike him more than once in the gameplay.
All members on Team 2 surpass him various ways, hes just a useful counterpart to Kratos.
You cannot value height based on Earths history because although the games are set in earlier era's the characters, what they eat, their growth may all be different.

Since Kratos is in giant mode + god form and link has giant mask, I believe they can simple double body slam everyone on team two. This method may mostly take out LK and warThis would be... Fvcking. Awesome.
