Thor vs. Superman: How close (or far) apart are they?

The only problem with this example is that while WW, CM, and BA are magically powered, their strikes normally don't translate into "magic damage". Only when CM or BA explicitly charge their fists with magical power are they really hitting Superman with magic. Diana can't do that, but her tiara and sword, both enchanted weapons, are capable of drawing blood from Superman.

Pretty sure WW is magical clay. CM needed 2 magical sucker punches to drop Supes. Then we have Etrigan punching Supes to the moon.

very true

Ok, aside from the fact that you don't read comics and are oblivious to the context behind the books, you realize that your comparison is extremely retarded?

Superman does the same thing. Like when he killed DD with a single punch.

Says the guy who shows up to slight Thor at every turn. Who doesn't click on other people's scans and puts up his own to attack a fictional character time and time again.

Superman didn't hold back against WW a far weaker character and at the end of the fight he clutched his throat.

Now what did I say that was inaccurate? Go ahead actually say something worth posting instead of the same old insult and dodge tactics you have always been known for your entire time on here.

Do you honestly think the writers are thinking she's magical clay when she strikes him? Are you serious? Do you even read these comics? Does it state her hands are amped with magic or do they make it a point to reference her weapons as magical when facing him.

not to mention the crucifier taking supes under his control
the quenn of the fables affecting him with her magic
an "angelic" alien killing him in obsidian age and so on...
but not a scratch from mjolnir...nice

The writer ignored the magical weakness and later went on to work for dc so it's obvious Thor wasn't winning since he handled it. He himself agrees it could go either way and it's not indicative of a battle simulation like the battle boards tend to go by.

And?

Also, when did I say you said something inaccurate?

It begins. You always leave a debate so early. I feel bad for the characters you debate for as you abandon them so early on.

Superman didn't even solidly defeat someone below him when he didn't hold back. She did hold back and had multiple chances to kill him.

So now everything I stated was accurate but you stated I don't read comics. I guess they were lucky guesses.

Actually, can you elaborate on this denial induced myth a little more?

WTF are you talking about and responding to?

What am I denying? A close battle between two characters going one way isn't proof they take a majority on a battle board. I guess masterson Thor stomps Gladiator by your own reasoning.

Depends on your definition of close.

Thor met him head on, had his hammer stopped with one hand, crapped his pants, was told he was a 10 to Superman's 11, then was sent to dreamland.

What a waste of a page ❌

After their initial fight was stopped due to jla teammates coming to Superman's aid after the hammer toss.

Thor acted completely out of character and forgot he saw the same thing years ago to give Superman time to rant and pull off a victory. the writer agrees it can go either way and all things considered with busiek's take I think it helps Thor's case against Superman in a battleboard fight.

It's funny how you take one statement of Superman's and then ignore the statement that followed. One might call you a hypocrite.

Lol forgot....

Thor crapping his pants was due to them both really trying to beat each other up.

Again with your quangic. "Could' and 'might' doesn't mean 'will'. Also it doesn't exclude the fact that it 'could' and 'might' go the same way again(Superman standing over Thor's unconscious body.)

Okay spire you need to stop with the crossover references since it isnt allowed on this site to be used as evidence and has no bearing whatsoever to this thread but simply derailed it into a lowballing insult poster match..

It's hilarious to me that Thor fans still fail to accept what happened, and search for every excuse in the book in order to satisfy their fragile little egos.
