I think we should definately check the office, so me and Emso will go after the fleeing man while Wentar analyzes the office. Maybe we'll find some clues there.

Emso professes that he would rather stay with Wentar.

After a few sly remarks Vlad will tell Emso to go with Wentar while Vlad proceeds after the man.

Wentar will just shrug and move off to the office. "You will really need to start trusting other people someday, Emso," he says as they approach the office. "Vlad is a friend and we wouldn't even be here without him."

Wentar sensing anyone inside?

Wentar and Vlad go their separate ways, Emso following Wentar.

"You have proven capable of protecting me," Emso says. "I would rather keep to that."

You do not sense anyone inside of the office complex.

-

Vlad- you approach the warehouse. The man ran through a doorway in its side. The door was left open. You sense your quarry for a moment before losing him.

Vlad will bring his blaster up to his shoulder and proceed through the door keeping his eyes open and scanning the room.

Vlad- you proceed through the door. The warehouse inside is dark, but you can make out the shape of long shipping containers stacked about inside. Not something you would normally see in a scrapyard.

Futhermore- you sense life inside of them!

Wentar shrugs. "Unfortunately I may not always be there Emso."

Lets take a poke around anyway, see what we can see in the office.

The door in is locked.

I'm guessing thats where they keep the slaves... Vlad will proceed to a nearby container and try to open it up. Hopefully you could unlock the containers from the outside.

They have a simple locking mechanism, but you need the passcode.

I don't think Wentar has the skills to unlock a door. Can Emso unlock it? He handled opening the assassins ship pretty nicely.

He can. There is a control panel next to the door. He fiddles with it and gets the door open without triggering the alarm.

Beyond the doorway is the dark office.

Any light switch? What's in the office?

Yes, there is.

It's very average. There is a desk at one end, surrounded by filing cabinets, cluttered with papers.

Well I guess then there's nothing Vlad could do but carry on...

Vlad's going to try and find a light switch of some-sort, and if he is unable than he will just continue on through the warehouse in the dark.

You think you can spy a control panel by the door you came in by, but at that moment, the lights go on. This reveals you sneaking about the containers with a rifle in hand.

Several armed aliens appear from behind the containers, and some also above you on gangways.

"Drop your weapon, trespasser!" calls out a familiar voice.

Vlad will scan the situation over with his eyes. How many of them are there?

Well lets see what these papers say. Wentar will get Emso to have a poke around in the filing cabinets.

Four on the gangways above you. Eight around you on the floor.

The papers on the desk are transaction notices for junk in the junkyard, as are most of the papers in the filing cabinets. It seems that Marl keeps his front very active.
