STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Chains

Started by Craft81 pages

Okay then! So I just choose to deploy equipment and named characters then, eh?

If so then 2 Energy walls and the Laser Cannon deployed to the Lower Quarters.

Wentar, Loj'oon and Vlad will be joining them. Altar can take a break and heal up for now.

All that would be great if the Srum had chosen to engage you this turn! As it turns out, they opted to reinforce their men rather than pitch them into battle. The units of pirates that have taken casualties are replaced with fresh ones!

That sounds like a good idea. I would like to swap one of the hit freed slaves in the Lower Quarters with the fresh ones in the upper quarters.

I'd also like to move a group of Pirates and Freed slaves from the Market to the Upper Quarters.

If you attack the Srum this turn (as it is your turn to attack), you will not have full offensive power as you are swapping one of the units out.

I will attack. I have the Private Guard's Charge and the Light Artillery, the number lack from the missing slaves shouldn't be too hard.

Send in Loj'oon, Wentar and Vlad.

Set up 1 box of frag grenades and the assassin probe please.

Altar is glad to have a moment to rest.

Reports are coming in from the fighting that the pirates have broken into the lifts. Since their efforts to push up the stairs are proving to be unsuccessful, they've taken to shooting grappling hooks up the lift shafts to try and move up.

Unfortunately your men caught it a little late and you are being called in to handle the situation in one of the lift wells. Your men are taking up defensive positions near the lifts to pick off anyone that tries to come out.

Hmmm, I think that kind of terrain makes the probe a very good choice. Though an energy shield would have been more useful then the grenades I think.

Oh well! Lets see if we can flush these pirates out of the lifts.

Focused Guard, Reflection and Bodyguard as my shticks please.

Since the pirates are moving into your territory, you are able to assign where your men are taking up position.

You have 30 men, 10 Guards, Loj'oon, Vlad, and the probe droid to assign.

Hmmm.

I was 20 men at the Far Corridor.

Loj'oon, the Probe and 10 guards in the Corridor.

And at the Lift Well, myself, Vlad and 10 men.

Alright! In that case, you are getting into position by the four lifts in this particular well when you begin to sense danger...

Immediately order the men back to the corridor. Tap Bodyguard while falling back.

The men start scrambling back when fierce explosions rip through the lift doors and engulf the area in fire. None of them manage to get clear in time.

Wentar is not very agile and so is thrown into the corridor, his robes on fire and taking 8 damage.

Vlad is much more impressive and gets out of the way with a neat flip into the corridor beside you. He swings his rifle off his shoulder and prepares to take aim on anyone coming out of the lifts...

Nobody does.

"Dammit! What a waste," Wentar curses as he sees the bodies of the pirates who didn't escape the explosion.

Does Wentar sense anything beyond the Lift Well?

You sense people in the lifts!

I can has grenades being thrown into the lift well?

If you like! You will have to get in position to make the throw work, unless you have a better idea.

Ummm, could I use the probe droid at all to give me a better view on the lift well?

It has no more observatory advantages than you do.

Damn, well then Wentar will move into a better throwing position. Though if his danger sense flairs up again he'll pull back immediately.

Is Wentar's action to move up and throw a grenade then?
