Hmmm. Okay! That's a very good point. New Orders.
Shifting everything from the Bridge down to Maintenance.
Move the Upper Quarter Slaves to the Lower Quarter.
Move Loj'oons Private Guard out of there to the Upper Quarters.
Have a Reformed Pirate and Freed Slave unit move from the Markets to Upper Quarters.
That should be it.
Alright! Those orders go through... except Loj'oon needs convincing that moving units down to the maintenance area is a wise move. He vetoed it originally and wanted to leave the area undisturbed to avoid drawing attention to it, in case the pirates decided to descend and wreak havoc on the engines. If the pirates take the engines, your gambit is over.
Oh right! Yeah my original plan was to hold the units there until the Srum made their move towards Maintenance.
Actually do they need to take the lower quarters to advance into the Cargo area and thus maintenance or can they move immediately. If so, could I do a pronged attack from both Cargo and Lower Quarters into the Hanger for superior damage?
"That is why I think we should send the troops through Maintenance," Wentar explains, after mentioning the ability to hit the Hangars on two fronts. "The Lower Quarters cannot hold for much longer, we need to get an edge down there long enough to reinforce our lines."
"Lose the Lower Quarters or send units through Maintenance, those are our only two options I can see right now, Loj'oon."
"It'll only be a matter of time before the Srum turns on Maintenance," Wentar says. "The very few sightings of Hanza makes me worried that he may be up to something. I want to be ready for it."
"If you still feel strongly about sending units into Maintenance I will hold the order and see how this next part of the battle pans out. However if we lose the Lower Quarters... Well we'll just have to see if it comes to that."
In that case, Loj'oon reluctantly agrees. He does not want the Maintenance to left undefended, and losing the Lower Quarters without any preparation sounds disastrous to him.
"We want to hold them in the hangars as long as possible," Loj'oon says. "I only have one condition - Hloo'jen must be stationed with our men down in Maintenance."
Loj'oon nods.
"You have my blessing," Loj'oon says. "Give the orders."

The station is chaos as you mobilize your men! Slaves are stocking up on weapons while reformed pirates coordinate the relocation of units for you. Those moving from the Bridge are crammed into maintenance lifts as tightly as possible before being sent down to the underbelly of the Seat.
Those being pulled back from the fighting are grateful for the opportunity to rest and recuperate. Loj'oon tends to what remains of his Private Guard; they have taken quite a beating.

Everything falls into place just about the time your frontline forces report enemy movement. The Srum are trying to use the forces they've fed up the lift shafts to flank defenders keeping the walkers from coming up the stairs.
In that case, the Lower Quarters are afforded a bonus of 20 for their defense, using the shields to entirely block the route up the stairs and allowing them to focus more on the attempted flanking. Again, due to the Armor on the Srum side of the fight, things shift in favor of the pirates, at 3:2.
A 2 means this is a Stalemate! The firefight to hold the Lower Quarters is the fiercest skirmish yet, with your units trying to keep the Srum ascending the stairs at bay and defending their flank. The shields eventually go when the scout walkers bring their heavy guns into the fray, but the walkers themselves are eventually brought down.
One of your groups of reformed pirates breaks in the fighting and retreats to the Upper Quarters, having taken too many casualties to continue the battle.

The scout walkers have been neutralized in their bid to take the stairs! Things are looking up for the freedom fighters currently...
