USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

They have enough men to keep throwing at us that surrender is not something they'd think of. They want us dead, no doubt about it.

Craft:
What makes you different from a sith? That you don't kill them with force lightning or choking?
It doesn't matter how rediculous you think the question is, if you do not let them see that they have a choice (kill or be killed), they will continue to attack you.
And about that last part (throwing sabre away and such), that was me trying to insert a bit of humor in it... which apperently failed.

Vera: Of course, but since Jedi stand for life, at least some part of you should be feeling uncomfortable.

Anyway: Bombard it is! I imagine that I have to point at them while standing up and such and that therefore I lose some cover. Ah well, at least the gun placement will take a hit.

More uncomfortable after Thea tells you they have been dominated by a Dark Side force moo-moo, I would hope, but yes, there's really no choice for you guys here.

There is a huge difference between not asking someone to surrender and being a Sith. You're making me out to be some murdering psychopath just because I disagree with you.

They will continue to attack anyway! We both know asking them to surrender wont work, so why do it? To ease any guilt you have over killing them? Being a Jedi is a messy thing, sometimes you have to kill people. It seems to me you just want an excuse for your actions. "Well I asked them to surrender, it's their fault for not doing it! I did nothing wrong!" It's not that simple. Just because we don't ask them doesn't mean they don't know they have a choice.

@ Ush:
Well yeah, once Wentar finds out they are being manipulated his opinion will change. But right now he sees a threat trying to kill us for no apparent reason and right now there is nothing he can do other then just try to stay alive.

Hold up you two! Really, now!

... Let me grab something first....

🍺

Ok, go ahead!

I don't make you look like a psychopat, you're just the only one who responds to my worries. 😛

I don't need an excuse, but they should know they have an other option besides killing/be killed. Even after asking and them rejecting, I would still dislike having killed so many people.

Ok, I think we are all planned and done.

6-4 says initiative is still yours!

Which means at this point, Denz bursts out onto the rooftop walkway! He looks in a bad way... Still, between Andro and Roan the area is soon clear! One down...

Jelena and Essalin finally manage their breakout, attacking the far side. They start to come under fire from those other guards outside of course.

Xeth disengages with a back-flip kill and acrobats back to the ship. Show off. Vera is holding in there though, which could leave her rather exposed! Jovan, meanwhile, actually picks up a severed hunk of metal from Xeth's ship, and hurls it across the firing ground to destroy the gun and incapacitate its crew. Return fire is ineffective against Xeth and Jovan. It's better against Vera as there are so many- armour can only reduce damage to 1. She loses her Cleave protection as well She does get two Reflection kills, though.

More and more men are coming. It seems further squads have been zoned onto you guys as the net closes.

Wentar and Vlad manage their run back to their ship... as the assault walker turns up at the factory grounds. This silvery walker with four high curved legs skitters at high speed; the cockpit up top contains a torpedo launcher and some rapid fire heavy blasters.

With Denzral in their company, Gallagher turns to Lady Thea.

"Lead the way, m'Lady," Gallagher says. "If Denzral is an indicator, our friends are in dire straights."

Swap out Balanced Guard.

The Master is tiring in the seemingly endless fight. As the yeomen begin to surround her, she performs a defensive flip up into the air, batting away lasers before landing behind the ship for cover.

(1 Force point for Defensive Leap to the ship, Coordination with that, use Block for Defense +1)

It is uncomfortable that we are taking so many lives, Jovan, but Xeth is even less comfortable with the idea of being killed by waves of soldiers that are clearly against them. Whoever is leading them is not our friend and if we want to get to the bottom of it, we're going to need to fend them off and fight for our lives. Makes sense to Xeth.

Xeth lands by the ship as he witnesses Jovan peel part of the armor plating off and use it as a projectile weapon. He shakes his head at the state of his ship but appreciates that it is still helping them out, in a way.

"Jovan, with me," Xeth says, indicating the north end. He goes running out to engage the yeomen there and cuts one down.

(Jovan, you should make your attack and then tap Cleave so that you get protective points to help you stay standing longer).

It had already fallen off the ship, to be fair.

Oh yeah, more for description than anything.

Switch Balanced Guard with Eye of the Storm. Vlad ducks behind the ship out of harm's way and then kneels down to pick up his rifle. He frowns as he sees the silver assault walker make its way to the factory grounds.

"Uh - oh... This might get interesting"

Can the walker's torpedoes and heavy guns reach us from where it is right now and can they harm the Free Flier?

Perhaps Vera would re-evauate her move? Considering we're going north again?

Anyway, as per suggestion, I want to follow Xeth and tap cleave after the attack so I can get my defense up

Vera's in the south alone.

1. Not yet

2. Yes (the torpedo launcher only)

Alrighty, so they'll probably close in on us next turn.

Hmmm, thinking of an old trick here. Does the walker have an open cockpit and if so, assuming we take out the pilot, could Wentar leap into and use the walker?

Sealed I am afraid.

Ah well. It seems we will have to do the 'saber the legs' trick. Unless... Can Wentar or Vlad get the Free Flier's weapons online to deal with the Walker?
