If so, Jelena is going to do that while Essallin cuts down the attacker on the far side of the park.

Yes it can, but it still doesn't work if you are attacking so she wouldn't get the benefit.

I think you may have missed this question Ush. Because if we can I am certainly going to spend this turn working on that.

It's not very practical. You'd need to get in. initialise, hover up, rotate towards it etc.

Right-o. One final question! Is the walker's top big enough for, say, Wentar and Vlad to jump up onto and Vlad to cut open the top while Wentar covers him?

If that is unfeasible here are my actions.

We get initiative: Wentar will hold position here body guarding Vlad.

They get initiative: Wentar will move towards the warehouses.

Only one on top at a time I am afraid!

Only an Agility roll to get atop the walker- it's only spaceship high.

And you wouldn't know that until you tried. It is generally awkward though, and you might find you are actively less dangerous in it.

Sadly no; Ward has to be declared along with your action- basically before anyone attacks you.

Ah well.

So Vlad how does this sound? When that walker gets in range you leap on it and cut open the top, get in there and crash it across the gate? Or Wentar can do the crashing with better pilot/Soft Landings.

A turn to draw, then another to put it back? If Vlad's going to engage the walker next turn then there's really no point of him even drawing it.

Rifles are clunky in that respect. You can pick it up and use it at once if you want, but if you want to pick it up for later it is a turn to retrieve now and a turn to draw it later.
